He hasn’t been funny in years and even then most of it was by accident. He spends 90% of the time just laughing like a little girl at himself.
Yeah, I love An Idiot Abroad, but the worst thing about the show is Ricky laughing as if it’s 2000x funnier than it is.

This was pretty funny, Ricky isn’t trying to make other people laugh by the way. He wants to make himself laugh and obviously enough people laugh along with him. Different strokes. It may seem ad-lib or that Warwick didn’t know he’d be in a frog costume but everything that happened in this promo was written by Ricky.

It’s not that. What roles are dwarf actors usually cast in? Like that Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich commercial where a dwarf comes out dress as a leprechaun with a pot of gold. Ricky isn’t doing anything different, he put him in that costume to point out that “little people” get those types of roles and have to do embarrassing things. To think Ricky is doing this just because he’s a dwarf is absurd.
You have got to be kidding me. Ricky IS doing this because this man is a “dwarf”. Ricky seems to have the 420 giggles and is making a show from this, not very high brow if you ask me.

I love Ricky Gervais. His podcasts are hilarious. I’ve been a faithful reader of the Superficial for years, never knew I was in such highbrow company. Warwick seemed to be laughing pretty hard too. Maybe they had both tipped a few.

Get a grip people. Life’s too short to moan about other peoples choices. Warwick wouldn’t do it if he didn’t want to, and surely they both feel that they are making the most out of their own circumstances and seem to be enjoying it at the same time. I for one am looking forward to the new series’ of both An Idiot Abroad and Life’s too short. Have fun everybody.
