Late last week, word got out that Jon Hamm made a comment in Elle UK where he called Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton “fucking idiots” because he’s an educated man with a keen sense of insight. Naturally Kim Kardashian feigned outrage at being correctly labeled because it got her giant ass in the press, so here’s Jon Hamm “apologizing” to Kim last night via E! News:
“It’s surprising to me that it has become remotely a story,” he told E! News. “I don’t know Ms. Kardashian, I know her public persona.
“What I said was meant to be more on pervasiveness of something in our culture, not personal, but she took offense to it and that is her right.”
So basically Jon Hamm defended his statement that our society worships fucking idiots and when one of those fucking idiots got mad at being called a fucking idiot, he suavely said, “Well, that’s her right as a fucking idiot.”
