Britney Spears Won’t Give Lifetime Movie Her Blessing
“I’m this many.”
Yesterday, Lifetime announced an unauthorized TV movie about the life of Britney Spears, which surprisingly isn’t based on my non-award-winning Bertney Stories and less importantly won’t receive the blessing of Ms. Britney Jean Spears herself. Unless Squidward’s in it then YES. Hollywood Life reports:
“Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic, nor does it have her blessing,” her rep told HollywoodLife.com in a statement. Lifetime announced the film on August 24, which will star Natasha Bassett as Britney and will air as a two-hour film. It’s not too surprising that Britney will not approve it. The movie will take a look at the ups and downs of her life, including her tabloid-frenzy relationship with Justin Timberlake, her short marriage to Jason Alexander, and her life with Kevin Federline that gave her two children.
In the meantime, here’s Natasha Bassett who I guess looks like Britney Spears? Then again, it’s probably more about conveying that her sole concern is French Fries while someone explains that toddlers aren’t allowed to drive even if they can reach the wheel while standing on the pedals. And have goggles on.
