Adriana Lima is featured on the cover of the new GQ, which dubs her, “The World’s Most Voluptuous Virgin.” In a brief Q&A with writer Lisa DePaulo that accompanies some steamy beach shots of the Victoria’s Secret model, Lima says, “Sex is for after marriage. [Men] have to respect that this is my choice. If there’s no respect, that means they don’t want me.”
This just goes against everything we’re taught to believe about supermodels. Hold on a second…ok, I just asked the supermodels in my bedroom if any of them were still virgins. Two said yes, while the other three said they were capricorns. They also said that the midget hasn’t breathed in roughly two hours, so I better get back there.

Oh Adriana, I respect you!!!
She was actually married to the actor Mike Vogal back around 2001 when she turned 18-19. So I’m also guessing she’s not a virgin anymore. And I’m also guessing they aren’t married any longer.
Who cares about her teeth?!
Look at this and tell me you care about her teeth:

damn.
She’s a bobblehead! Boing bbbboing baboing baboing boing!
She’s never been married.
And those who wonder her age, she was born in 1981, so she’ll be 25 this year.
The fact that nobody has had sex with this woman is proof that there is no god.
This is SO WEIRD. I was still a virgin when I posed half nude on the cover of a men’s magazine, too!
This cannot be true. At last I have found my dream woman.
She is from Brazil and is 22-years-old. I have a cousin who’s Catholic and stayed virgin until she was 25 or 26. It’s hard to meet someone like that nowadays.
like dry humping a cheese grater…
….a contract with Crest wouldn’t hurt either. need a squeegie for those bitches.
oh, and virgins are fuckng overrated.
#52, I can’t find any info online anywhere that says she was ever married to Mike Vogel, in 2001 or ever, and since she was engaged to Lenny in 2002 and Mike has been married to someone else since 2003 and he says it was first marriage, I think you’re mistaken in saying Adriana was ever married.
She’s not 22, she was born in 1981.
Before modeling she wanted to be a nun.
All models are not dumb.
She is 24.
In other countries nudity is much more common place. (Brazil)

#61, no kidding. Oh joy, my new wife doesn’t have clue as to how her pussy works, and I get to teach her how to be an adult about her own sexuality. And on top of that her first intercourse with me is going to be a painful experience. Yeah, thanks honey, that’s quite a gift.
Adriana Lima wins at life.
I’m actually impressed by a supermodel…the world must be ending.
By the way, #65, you’re disgusting. She’s isn’t saving herself as a “gift” to her husband, she’s doing it because she feels it’s right. Your comment in itself shows how little respect you have for women.
65, I’m fairly certain any sexual experience with you would be painful, regardless of your partner’s experience.
yeah right…she is so not a virgin. What she meant to say was ” i think i’m going to wait for marriage before i EAT” i just wanna give the bitch a cheeseburger.
#10, right on! This is THE place to be all uptight and politically correct.
#28, most of the bashers are probably jealous women. Or those who have either never interacted with a real woman or have ridiculously high standards (and I am sure are Perfect 10′s themselves).
i fell for this hottie a couple of years ago and looked up more recent runway pictures of her lately. Guys, look, dont sweat it over this chick. She is such a chronic dieter that she has hanging meat on her inner thighs. She is a great clotheshorse and super photogenic, but she is not better than your spongey well-formed farmgirl or citychick next door.
By the time you notice a supermodel, their looks have generally peaked and they’ve made it just because they take good pictures.
As far as a woman that available being a virgin at 24, thats just a sign that having her would be a nightmare. I love the hypocrisy of religious people claiming morality while they strut their asses down runways. At least strippers and hookers are honest about what they’re selling. Just cuz you dont spread your legs and show the guys what they’re imagining anyways doesnt make you ‘better’ than another form of sexworker. But thats the hypocrisy of the media and the fashion brainwash system.
Who wants to date a catholic guilt-tripper anyway? Not like you’re ever gonna get any oral. Adriana Lima, super eyes, supermodel, super-waste.

hands it to jacksonwallace
congratulations you made it to the blog of the year.. by mentionitng it twice!
jeez how much repeative offender we need more to get
but nevertheless you said it….
p.s. my opinion i think adrina lima is a possiblity of being a lesbian because lesbian might not yet have vaginal penetration kinda of oxymoron, there is it?
perhaps– it may be the propaganda of the year, but then again beautiful people dont necessarily give away everything if you know what i mean?
they’re afraid of a stranger turns over in 5 O’Clock corner of darkalley way
and you know what might happens next…
yup, paranoia might corrupt you, so what
deal with it, adrima, you need more LIMA in your life :giggles:
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Methinks #73 hit the pipe a few too many times today. The giggle at the end clinches it. Well, that and the incoherent ramblings.
Ugh, this is the one VS model I hate the most. She always has that effing “I know you vant me” look on her face, under heavy lids. She’s so contrived. Skucking Fag!
You guys should listen to yourselves talk (well, the majority at least). The way disrespect others (especially YOUR WIFE, #61) is disgusting.
Also, in regard to #43′s landing on this site…It was an accident that I landed on this site because I google’d ‘Adrian Lima + virgin’ to see if the rumours were true. And then I ran into these comments…
In regards to the bashing, it kills you to see that a beauty like Adriana has enough self-control to wait for marriage. Does it really make you feel better about yourself to have to cut down someone else? Like isn’t that so highschool?
Studies have been done to prove that people who don’t wait tend to have more marital problems than those who do. Jess and Nick are perhaps a bad example of this.
PS: People like most of you are the reason I don’t date.
To #76, I see where you’re coming from but think you’ve missed the point.
I’m a 24 yr old woman and would regard myself as leaning towards feminist perspectives about sex. #61 and #65 are probably men, and they talked about virgins quite crudely but they are not being disrespectful at all. What exactly is so desirable about being with someone who doesn’t know about imtimacy/being pleasured and pleasuring? Having experience is not essential but why is no experience suddenly more sexy? If anything, I’d say the most sexist guys of all are the ones who are turned on by virginity. So, for those of you who admire her choices, how is being a virgin so respectable if its something dictated by an ancient sexist institution (the catholic church?).
I have only slept with one person, my current long term boyfriend. I actually think that a girl who waits for marriage has intimacy problems. In Lima’s case, this is all the more confused because she sells her sexuality on a daily basis.
Maybe she is sickened by all the seedy male attention and wants to send out a message that sex isn’t all she’s about.
Just one last point..lol. Ladies if you want a guy to respect you, it has to be about more than withholding sex! Why is it two categories 1. VIRGIN. 2. NON-VIRGIN?
what about love-making and being close to someone you really get turned on by..
grrrr it makes me so mad!
My point is that the respect that used to exist in the world, say 50 years ago, is quickly vanishing. I think alot of this has to do with the media and how society is blind to its desensitization. I work at a movie theatre and am always shocked when parents bring their 8 year old kids to 18A movies. This is the next generation, folks! It really bothers me that people are followers of the media and let it sway them.
The reason why sex before marriage is considered immoral, by the Church, or otherwise, is for your own psychological protection. When you have sex with someone, whether you realize it or not (or unless you’re a sociopath of course), you become emotionally attached. Everytime you have sex with someone, you lose part of yourself and give it away. When you actually find your husband, sex is not as big a deal anymore. I think there’s something very sacred about having someone inside of you.
I think virgins are so attractive because its a rarity and a challenge. I love the contraversy around Lima being a virgin.
The reason why I found the crude talkers disrespectful was because they made women sound like objects.
I know lots of psychologically sane people who are waiting for marriage and who I know don’t have intimacy problems.
Yes, virginity is just one of the many ways to get a men to respect women.
**Oops, I meant #65 instead of #61 in the above comment.
re#77 Finally a post that makes some sense. As a guy I agree that the guys most interested in virgins tend to be the most sexist. It’s the 50 year old bald guys with harry backs who fantasize about young virgin girls. I myself prefer older, more sophisticated women.
Adriana is beautiful but what they say about models is sometimes true. You have to wonder about the intelligence of any celebrity who makes a public issue of their sexuality, or lack thereof.
If she really is a virgin, and there is no reason for me to doubt her, then you could be right. Perhaps she does have intimacy issues or it could be worse. It’s possible she thinks sex is gross. Perhaps she was molested as a child? or perhaps her self esteem is such that she believes that her virginity is all she has offer a husband and is holding on to it in an effort to snag a rich one? Just because she is a supermodel doesn’t nessacarily mean she is happy with herself.
While all this speculating is pointless, the one thing I think we can all agree on is that it is sad that she feels the need proclaim her virginity publicly and make an issue of it. The same was true for Jessica Simpson and Brittney Spears. Sex is a PRIVATE act between two people who love and trust one another.
If a celebrity is having sex, good for them, but I for one, don’t want to hear about it. If they are not having sex, well, thats too bad, but again, I don’t want to hear about it. Both fall under the catagory of TOO MUCH INFORMATION.
Is it just me being pathetically immature but does anyone else find the “Enter” sign on her website mildly amusing?
Oh, by the by, I hardly find the status of her hymen interesting but it IS interesting to read all your slants on it. But DO STFU about religion. If sex had anything to do with Catholicism, they’d let priests do it.
With her.
#78 “I know lots of psychologically sane people who are waiting for marriage and who I know don’t have intimacy problems.”
I grew up in a strict Pentecostal
church and am now an athiest.
For every sane adult virgin there are 99 who are on the edge of mental illness and unrealistic about love, sex, and the other gender they are no good to anyone.
There are Christian women who won’t even have a cup of coffee with someone unless the sky splits open and a dove lands on his shoulder as a sign from god.
These people who villianize sexuality well into their mid 20 and 30′s end up having tons of marital problems, it’s just many of them are ashamed to admit it or settle for mediorce and tragically boring sex lives after “waiting” for the perfect mate.
I don’t buy into your “soul ties” crap.
Sex causing emotional and psychological trauma is religious propaganda.
There is nothing “sacred” about sex.
This view is based on the baby-making potential of sex alone.
It is a 100% natural act and no spirituality is necessary to make it any more important or positive.
That said, Adriana is missing out on life for a lie. She should have enjoyed Kravitz for all he’s worth. It’s been said he is an amazing lover.
She will give it up to some sexist ass that thinks she is an “untainted” trophy for his ego on the honeymoon of a marriage that will last 2-3 years at best.
I can help her with that problem…
#81 And the reason why you said your an atheist is for what purpose again? Look I’m an atheist too and at the same time a very liberal person . One of the things liberal people are supposed to be is to respect other people choices and leave them alone. Well you obviously don’t coz all I read from your post are the most BS lies in this entire page.
In defence of Lima, I don’t think she’s lying. I don’t agree with the slander either. Yes, I hate religion, especially Catholicism, which Lima believes in. Catholicism takes advantage of the poor, uneducated and generally clueless. I am fine with Lima refraining from sex, but I wish it wasn’t because of Catholicism. She’s far too wordly to allow herself to be that easily persuaded by the Church.
hmm well I loved and agreed with #77. I just turned 21 and am still a virgin. As a child I was a book worm, then a tomboy. When I turned 16 i began to change my style, by 18 i had started wearing make up. I always considered myself ugly, too dark, ugly body..all these insecurities…and maybe that is why I’m still a virgin. Now I look at myself and think, I’m not ugly anymore, I have guys ask me out all the time, but with every boyfriend that I have a relationship with I’ve always avoided sex talk or straight out told them I am waiting for marriage. Surprisingly my longest relationship was 1yr and 2 months. I guess I do think, what will i offer my husband once I’ve given up my virginity? or most of the time I’m just shy about my body. So yes! I’ts INSECURITY! I’m trying to grow out of it, but honestly It’s hard =/
read the GQ article. she’s fucking awesome. spent the whole time biting the interviewer’s head off. and the whole model/virgin thing is awesome too. the definition of “you can look but you can’t touch.” i’m in love.
#65 wouldn’t you think it’s more like “yeah honey you’re the only one special enough to me that i’m willing to wait until i can go through that painful first time with you even though i could have slept with every single straight man in the entire world if i’d wanted to and a fair few gay ones too.” she’d slap the shit out of any boyfriend that tried getting fresh and you just know she has on more than one occasion. adriana rocks.

um i’m still going with the religious supermodel winning the morality stakes over someone who has sex for money, even if you do think it’s hypocritical. lol. dick.
good on her. why are virgins criticised in our society today? its supposed to be a good thing. shes right too, if a guy wont respect her wishes to wait until marriage, then hes not worth it. but i suppose its really up to what your looking for. it your into the more, dirty, meaningless kitchen-table sex, then fair enough that you dont wait.
this girl has class
good on her
(:
