Angelina Jolie is getting ready to sue The Sun over reports her adopted daughter Zahara Marley is not an orphan. Last week they published an interview with 18-year-old Mentewab Dawit who claimed to be the baby’s natural mother and said she was forced to put Zahara up for adoption when she couldn’t afford to feed her. Angelina insists Zahara’s mother is dead and has consulted a London based attorney who confirms, “I’ve not yet been issued with instructions to commence legal actions. But I am speaking to her again this afternoon.” A spokesman for The Sun replies, “We have not been notified of any legal action against us and we stand by the story absolutely.”
It’s a good thing Angelina Jolie is rich, because if push comes to shove, she may very well have to hire an assassin to “confirm” that Zahara’s mother is in fact dead. See how I used quotation marks? That’s subtlety, baby.
