The Internet just Bat-came today after the first image of Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises was revealed on the movie’s official website, but only after finding a Twitter hashtag through some sort of audio visualizer, I don’t even know. Coming from a guy whose wardrobe is 75% Iron Man T-shirts, that’s a whole lot of nerd-work for not a lot of nerd-payoff. Now had this been Anne Hathaway in a Catwoman suit, I would’ve used string theory to prove Heath Ledger is still alive in an alternate universe where the Olsen twins were aborted. *writes “Mary-Kate^Ashley = Anti-Life Equation” on chalkboard*

I would imagine Bane’s back is supposed to look like that. Instead of having tubes attached to the back of him that pump chemicals into his body like in the comics, those look like scars and puncture wounds.

in these economic difficulties the united states comes with true BULL SH*T in movie theatres!!
The main problem i have is the guy who was cast for bane is about 5’9-5’10, and christian bale is about 6’1-6’2. so you are telling me that they are going have batman be taller than bane WOW… with the costume, where are the venom tubes and that cant be the biggest the have him get. just hope they dont mess it up like they did with batman & robin movie.
You guys keep asking about the venom tubes, but remember that Nolan’s take on Batman has always been something that could fit into reality. Those tubes would not fit inside Nolan’s Gotham – sorry – that’s just the way it is. I think Brady looks great! The mask is creepy and I love the scars on his back. Just because he is shorter than Bale doesn’t mean the movie is going to be crap. Also, Brady can’t be abnormally huge like Bane was in the comic books. He has to look somewhat human. Just relax. This is going to be epic.
