Huh. There are a lot of orphanages in places like Russia and the Ukraine that dump emotionally disturbed kids on foreign adopters (they do a bait-and-switch, or sometimes dope the kid up.) Then when they bring the kid home, the parents get driven absolutely nuts. It happens often enough that there are specific facilities to house and treat the kids after the parents go batshit crazy. Hell, sometimes one (or both) of the parents wind up killing the child.
