The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer
WATCH: 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Official Trailer

Here’s the official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which shows right away that the filmmakers tackled the two villain problem from Spider-Man 3 by going, “What if we have a million villains?” To which a studio exec replied, “I like it, I like it. But hear me out, what if.. The Rhino’s also a Transformer? BOOSH.” And that’s how you score a mansion made out of cocaine. The End.

  1. Deacon Jones

I’ll be honest here, this movie looks like its going to be awful.

And yes, I’m always talking shit on Marvel because they are/have(?) oversaturated the hell out of the movie industry with these films they’re pumping out on a bimonthly basis.

But man, this looks really bad.

Spider-Man is just not cool. At all. Batman is cool, though. Spider-Man is just some dipshit who got bit by a spider. I mean, come on…

  2. Mohawk Disco

I honestly started laughing at how pathetic this movie already looked just from the trailer. I couldn’t believe the dialogue between Spider-Man and Gwen.

  3. Fuck the dialogue and whatever else. I watch Spider-Man movies to see Spider-Man in action. I like what I see in this trailer. Spider-Man kicking ass.

  4. so many police cars doing fancy stuff in the air…

  5. Looks like a goddamn mess… yet still MUCH BETTER than anything DC is trying to currently sell us.

    Weak-ass-Spidey > Wonder-Woman-as-a-unded-supermodel-instead-of-a-bodacious-warrior.

  6. The problem isn’t that the movie studios portray spider-man as a whiny little bitch, the problem is that the comic character IS a whiny little bitch. It’s not possible to follow spider-man comics and not hate the emo douche.

The character has no depth, he’s all whine and guilt. People want to see a super hero who LIKES being a super hero.

  7. Swearin

And they’re already teasing Vulture and a Doc Oc reboot. Fantastic.

Honestly, there’s very few avenues they can take the franchise now; from what I know about Spider-Man (and granted, I was never a superfan), he spent ALOT of time interacting with other Marvel characters like Wolverine and the Avengers, which of course, they can’t do now because Sony. So if he knocks off this batch of villains, it’s bring back to the oldies or go with 3rd string villains like Rhino

  8. I will watch it, then I will go to the message boards and have meaningless arguments with all who have different opinions than my own. Isn’t that why Al Gore invented the internet?

  9. It looks bad, but watchable. Meh. I like enough people in it that I will probably see it.
