Susan Sarandon On Woody Allen: ‘I Think He Sexually Assaulted A Child’

I’m no scientist, but how did our universe not collapse just now?

Thanks to the strategic timing of Ronan Farrow calling out Woody Allen in The Hollywood Reporter on the first day of Cannes – which is getting THR blackballed from events – it’s been open season on questions about whether or not he should still be working in Hollywood with mostly awkward results. But that was before Variety asked Susan Sarandon her thoughts, and apparently she’ll tell you right to your fucking face that he’s a child rapist.

I think he sexually assaulted a child and I don’t think that’s right,” Sarandon said during Variety and Kering’s Women in Motion talk with Geena Davis.
“I have nothing good to say about him,” she added. “I don’t want to go there.”

While it’s great that someone in Hollywood isn’t afraid to speak out, it’d probably be better if it wasn’t Susan Sarandon who’s been saying some crazy shit lately. Then again, she has what can only be described as immortal breasts, and if the past nine years of my life have taught me anything, it’s that people will listen to you if you keeping bring boobs to the table even though they really shouldn’t. Not even once. You’ve all made a terrible mistake.
