Sorry for the lack of updates. We tried to make the redesign a smooth transition but there were a lot more technical kinks than we anticipated. If you haven’t noticed, the redesign is kicking our server’s ass. I asked our technical guy what’s up and he told me that when he opened up the server a family of bats flew out. Go figure. Anyway, we’re working on getting everything fixed so thanks for your patience.

Is it just a coincidence that the nav is almost a pixel-by-pixel copy of apple.com’s nav? Colors, dimensions, text style are almost identical. You may want to ask your designer about that.
Other than that, it’s pretty classy.

I know iwatchstuff.com is your sister site, but you pretty much just swiped the design straight from there, changed the header image and background color, and turned “So Freaking Cool” into “So Freaking Hot.”
Don’t get me wrong, I love the way iwatchstuff looks. But surely you could have made the new Superficial design a little more original.

RE design: eh, it’s a redesign. it looks a little better. The fact is, there are only a couple of ways to design a site in such a way that it doesn’t make a visitor want to gouge their own eyes out. At least most of the text isn’t tiny white type on a dark background, that shit is hard to read.
As long as we can still get pictures of Britney’s big fat ass, all else can be forgiven.
