you know, i used to be scarlett’s #1 cheerleader. i thought she had this like natural, feminine beauty and an innate sensuality. i was wrong. and so was the rest of the world.
she manages to look boring and strange all at once. she is average-pretty, but the things that make her ‘unique’ make her less attractive, like that over-inflated upper lip. she is a fucking snob (not to mention the fact that she seems to view herself as an intellectual but hasn’t even been to college) and was a product of clever marketing.
the more i look at these pictures, the more i think eva embodies the things that i once thought scarlett did. now, 8 out of 10 times, i would really only be impressed by a blonde (just being honest)….but eva really has that curvy and natural (like as in real breasts…that aren’t sloppy and matronly like you-know-who) but fit….she has a confident glow…and pulls off sexy without coming off as sleazy.
now, eva is a little masculine in the face (well, maybe more than a little), but scarlett is homely all over (use ‘lost in a translation’ as a reference if you don’t agree…and believe me you will.)
the big difference is that scarlett puts a huge effort into appearing effortless. she works real hard at knitting together a style…at squishing those overstuffed lips the right way…at crafting this liberal and sexuality liberated image…and acting as if she has just been fucked before she arrived but is too much of a lady to mention it. but eva really does have an effortlessness to her. she looks like she enjoys sex (but actually IS too much of a lady to show us her box). she also seems to own up to a certain amount of effort, as far as style is concerned, and she is all the better for it.
