1. RSS feeds have been updated to include images and a “Read More” link because clicking the headline is hard. I know.
2. Sincere thanks to everyone who actually reads the instructions on how to reach the NSFW versions of images and for trying to help the illiterate find their way to boob-nirvana.

come on now, it’s not as simple as you’re saying.
Let’s REALLY recap:
1. You’re on thesuperficial.com and see a picture of some old whore with a star over her nipple.
2. You spend 10 or 15 seconds wondering “what do I do to see that gnarled old titty”?
3. You click on the big picture, assuming it will do something useful.
4. The screen appears to refresh, but really you’ve been taken to the page of the post itself. It looks exactly the same, with the same preview of pictures below the main picture, same link to the “gallery”, etc. If you scroll further (or is that farther?) down, you see the comments, which makes it obvious that you are in the full post.
5. You click on the big picture again, and it once again looks like it just refreshed the page.
6. You click on it AGAIN, thinking surely SOMETHING will happen. The picture changes to another one, and you wonder what the fuck happened.
7. Eventually, you notice that there is a link above the picture that says “view full size”.
8. Click on “view full size” and you’re finally at that gnarled ol’ titty!
Suggestions: Put “view uncensored version” link on main page and on the post main page. Saying view full size does make it obvious what you’re going to see.
Just realize that most of us are impatient clickers who just want to see the titties. Make our click paths easy and simple. Putting links to external sites that launch in a new window is great. Keep those usability features coming!

Yeah, I know we don’t come to The Superficial for in depth discussion of user interface design or anything, but if people have to read comments to figure out why your design isn’t broken, your design is broken. Are you seriously trying to argue that a tiny link in the corner upper-left is more usable than clicking on the picture, especially since that’s the way the site has worked for years?
