Robert Pattinson & Kristen Steweart prove Twilight owns our entire f-cking universe

June 1st, 2009 // 108 Comments

For those of you who valued your eyes, faces and brainial region by avoiding the MTV Movie Awards, you missed watching those perpetually-stoned Twilight kids dominate the entire event. The pinnacle was Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart accepting the Best Kiss Award and then almost kissing – just like in the movie!. Oh, Edward!

On that note, these are now your most beautiful people, America, as dictated by 15-year-old girls with Internet access. At this time, I suggest you prepare yourself for when the terrorists completely dominate our country by dressing up like sensitive vampires who won’t even dry hump you. It’ll be that easy.

You people are CRAZY!!!! He is a beautiful, beautiful man. Twilight rocks. Cannot wait for New Moon to come out! Phenomenons prove to always be correct that is why that are called phenomenons. You don’t have to like it but as long as you are talking about it, there must be something to be talked about.

Well, i am not a teenager and i believe that if you enjoy reading and feel passionate about something whether it is a story or not, you have the right to speak your opinion. As for you, dumb teenagers apparently are your type of entertainment considering you are readily and knowing reading the comments posted and clearly interested in the Twilight fan base and their cast otherwise you would not leave a comment at all. To all the haters of a movie that connects w/people. The movie is based on fantasy not life. So sorry to take away from your gory, bloodsucking vampire idealization. I for one would much rather watch this movie than to sit and watch and blood bath vampire movie.

Bwahaha @ representing real girls, why because she is average looking at best with no sex appeal? For someone who hates Twilight so much and thinks of young people who are into the series as dumb teenagers, you sure are spending an awful lot of time on the subject. Maybe you should reevaluate yourself and admit that you really are a lover of the Twilight series and the movie and we can all just get on w/our day. If you think that the movie was awful but yet Randal’s comments make you want to put a pencil in your eye then really and you should seriously reevaluate your interest in the entire Twilight phenomenon. Go ahead, jump on the band wagon, you know you want to. It’s a fun ride and we always have something to talk about.

I think Kristen Stewart is a pretty girl, but that godawful dress and shoes could cause retinal damage.

Robert Pattinson is a sexy young guy.

They DO both always stoned. Either that or they’ve both got a lazy eye. A glazed lazy eye.

“Twilight” is brainless and misogynistic, both in movie and book form.

Mandy, a phenomenon can be good or bad. IMO I didn’t like the movie AT ALL. I am a big movie fan of all types but this one left me wondering why it is so popular.

It is a bad story and bad acting. The plots and stories are laughable. But to each his own

Duh! Do you think i am an idiot. I do know the definition of phenomenon. You clearly did not understand that in this context it is taken as a good thing. Why would you comment on this. I don’t understand? I bet you are a Trekkie, right. Or, let me guess…….a huge fan of documentary films and foreign films.

Listen, no matter you “type” people are losing site of the fact that Twilight is a fantasy based book and movie. Or course it is not going to be for everyone and so why even bother on making comments about it if you did not like it. The fact remains that it is a huge “phenomenon” and that it will not go away anytime soon. I personally loved the books and the movie and cannot wait for New Moon. I personally would like to believe that every once in a while everyone enjoys getting caught up in their own idea of EDWARD and BELLA. It is not a crime to want to believe that that actually exits and even if it doesn’t….well so be it. That is why they call it fantasy and make believe.

  49. Stuey | June 1, 2009 at 1:04 pm

You keep spewing the word phenomenon off like it is dictonary.com’s word of the day. Yes we all know it is a phenomena but that doesn’t automatically mean it is something that is great.

I’m neither a trekkie or a documentary type of guy. I stated my opinion and even said, To each his own. YOU on the other hand have been ranting about people on and on about how much they post on it YET you have typed more than anyone on the topic.

If you like it, GOOD…I do not.

Quit being so damn defensive about it. Some people love it some people do not. You write it off as a character flaw. The same assumption you made about me and my likes about movies can be said about you too. So since you like Twilight I have to assume that you are like the other 5 million fat chicks that wear the Twilight tee shirts 3 sizes too small wishing and hoping some vampire would fall in love with you.

Mandy i prefer HBO’s True Blood to Twilight. It’s more adult and better acted. Also, foriegn films are the best, from Pan’s Labyrinth to Oldboy to the orphanage. Some of the best horror/fantasy/monster films are NOT American made films, sorry.
