Is this my fault?” which is a completely normal reaction even though the answer to both is an emphatic “no.” But equating yourself to Britney Spears? I can’t even fahtom going to a place that dark. #10- Are you fucking kidding me? Rihanna has had TONS of hits in only a few years and since the Chris Brown incident I don’t think she’s done much as far as her career goes. I mean, she has a new album coming out but she hasn’t been releasing tons of singles. She was already a huge success. Not saying I particularly like her music, but you can’t deny her success as a musician prior to this shit. Just because she appeals to a specific audience (young) doesn’t mean no one has heard of her. Maybe you only heard of her with this shit but she’s been damn successful for several years. And to act like her being fucking beaten has any positives is fucking disgusting.
I’m glad that, despite the constant objectification and sexualization on this site, the writer at least sometimes makes serious statements about serious issues, like that abused women are NOT at fault for what happens to them.
