Pippa Middleton, on the other hand, is someone whose sister married a Prince and who people are only noticing now because she wore a form-fitting dress to the wedding. (And also, I’m thinking, because it’s beneath the British media to sexualize the new Duchess, so her equally attractive sister makes a good stand-in. Sublimation, if you will.) Pippa’s cute and quite possibly a nice person, but she’s probably never asked for this attention let alone done anything to deserve it.
I kind of feel sorry for her. It’s like she looked really pretty at the wedding and got all this attention. But now all that attention is being paid to her plain-ness and lack of curves. I mean, she’s still cute, but in a very plain way that would go unnoticed if she didn’t have a hot sister-princess.
