That the reviewer’s suggestions were constructive makes this gesture easier the review system worked here, yes? Trying to uncover someone’s intentions is wasted time, especially since this reviewer herself might not even know *why* she decided to sign the review. Or it is a typical act on her part. You can’t know until you ask.
