What does “let’s pretend their sheer …” mean? What is a ‘sheer’, and how do other people own it? I think you need to read this :
their = something owned by other people (“it’s their party”)
they’re = they are (“let’s pretend they’re coming”)
there = preposition denoting a place (“it’s over there”)
“their sheer brilliance”
i.e. “their brilliance, which is sheer.”
