1. He could pull it off. He could pull anything off. He actually has talent.

    Yes.

  2. Deacon Jones

I was actually going to suggest this, I thought he was awesome in Chronicles of Riddick, one of the most underrated sci-fi movies in recent memory.

    • He is a great actor, but the reality is he won’t get the part of Batman because he is not, well, white enough.

i would hardly call Chronicles of Riddik underrated. It made a ton of money, get sshown on TV at least every few weeks or so, and was good enough and popular enough to get a high dollar sequel which is about to come out.

      • Deacon Jones

They lost their shirt on the movie, it only grossed something like a third of what they spent on it.

But I agree, it does see some good air time on cable.

  3. He’s awesome in everything. He can do it.

  4. Bob

I would be 100% okay with this. I’ve been a fan of his since Lord of the Rings and he’s never disappointed me. It’s about time he got the lead in something, he deserves it. And now with this idea in my head, I’ll be highly disappointed if the go with someone else.

And he was a Bad Mother Fu**er as Kiril in “The Bourne Supremacy”

    Him or Brolin, man.

Thank you for your words of wisdom. This Ryan Gosling/Ozymandias ish is pissing me off!

  7. Seb

Urban would be a bad-ass Batman. Tall enough, probably needs to pack on a bit of muscle, has the facial intensity, and a good Kiwi bloke to boot…

Hope Snyder rips this film up. Love his film style/cinematography.
