She has a weird body shape. Small-ish waist, but big arms and legs and small breasts. Like, an alternative nterpretation of an hourglass shape, and not in a good way. I have nothing against unconventional body types, but I wouldn’t want hers. Looks even more disproportionate when she’s a little heavier–can’t imagine what it would look like with 20+ pounds.

Sometimes when you gain weight recovering from an eating disorder, it goes to weird places at first because your body’s doesn’t really know where to put it. People’s proportions generally even out once they’ve been stable and in recovery for a while.

It’s nice to see a celebrity female that isn’t stick thin. I’m not stick thin, but I’m not a couch potato either. And she makes me feel so beautiful because I know she helps people see that you don’t have to be sickly thin to be beautiful. Her shape is sexy and that of a real woman. That’s all it is is that she has the body of a bodily matured woman and there’s nothing sexier.

It’s pretty ridiculous how people love to criticize celebrities like Demi who go through eating disorders but then when they get turned around and begin to look healthy again, those same people once again criticize them for embracing their “imperfect” bodies. Newsflash: Demi is an inspiration and role model to teens. She faced hard times and mental illness and wasn’t afraid to admit it and get the help she needed. I would love to have a body like hers!
