Paris Hilton returns to court…sort of

June 8th, 2007 // 121 Comments

paris-hilton-mugshot.jpgThe Los Angeles City Attorney filed a motion yesterday demanding a hearing before Judge Michael Sauer to determine why the Sheriff’s Department allowed Paris Hilton to get out of jail when the judge had expressly ordered her to serve out her entire sentence. Paris was scheduled to appear in court today at 9 AM, but, of course, has been allowed to appear via phone instead. TMZ reports that at this moment there’s a war going on in the courtroom between Paris’ lawyer, the City Attorney, and the Sheriff’s Dept.

And in case you were wondering, this is what it looks like outside Paris Hilton’s home right now. There’s at least five news choppers circling and an armada of paparazzi on the street. Because, really, this is the most important thing that has ever happened in the history of time. George Washington could come back from the dead and he’d just end up getting trampled to death by all the news people trying to get to Paris’ house.

UPDATE: Judge Michael T. Sauer has ordered that Paris Hilton appear in person for the hearing and has sent a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s vehicle to pick her up.

for all the reasons that the district attorney and judge want paris to be imprisoned (silly young girl with more money than jesus who spends her life sleeping around and partying and playing dress up while they work hard blah blah) they’re just adding fuel to the fire of her fame. stupid judgey is blatantly on some right winged kick with this whole thing should just stop begrudging the youngsters just because he probably is and always was a boring old misery. i’m not even a fan of paris hilton i think she’s a straight up husband stealing hoochie momma and i am jealous of her wads of cash but judgey has made me feel sorry for her somehow ARE YOU HAPPY NOW JUDGEY

Sorry silly judgey, but this is no right wing kick. This is called the US Justice System. When the judge sentenced Paris, he explicitly stated that home detention WAS NOT allowed. The Prosecutor agreed with that. Then, the Sheriff unlaterally freed her for so called “medical” conditions without first consulting with either the prosecutor or the judge. That is called contempt of court because he violated a judge decision, and the Sheriff is in some trouble. And deserves it. And the fact is, what was her medical condition? Seriously. WHAT? You think that there aren;t other people in prison with medical issues? My money is on improper influence with the Sheriff, and now he is screwed. Bet he loses his next election, and should. The Dumbass. Paris back to jail, where she belongs.

Here comes the Judge. Here comes the Judge.

Yup, it’s definitely a right wing thing to uphold the law.
After yesterday’s attempts in the Senate by the leftists Democrats to give instant legal status to tens of millions of law breaking illegal aliens, we know who is for American law.

Paris is of course up the creek for repeatedly breaking probation terms. She got caught twice driving but we know she was flouting the law more than that.

Every day illegal alien drunk drivers kills 12 Americans.
Every year illegal aliens kill more Americans than 9-11.

    Paris is in good company.

I have practiced criminal defense law, and this situation really pisses me off. I have had clients on similar charges with severe mental health issues never get such a break. In all my time in practice, I’ve never had the Jailers modify a court order of committment.

Paris deserves 90 days. She knew that she wasn’t supposed to drive, and she did repeatedly, and was cited repeatedly. She told society to “fuck off” by her actions, and when called on the carpet, she blamed others for her fuck ups. Then, she goes on a publicity stunt holding a Bible.

That cunt needs to rot in jail.

Poor thing went crazy in jail because she had to go without the constant social stimulation she usually saturates herself with… the echo inside her vacuous head drove her M A D. So basically, the sheriff let her go for being an empty shell of a human being.

Paris needs to stop being a pussy! She should just suck it up in jail and try to get back some of the minimal, if any, dignity she has. And in the end she could just add it to her extensive resume right next to dick sucker extraordinaire. Lastly, I am suprised she hasn’t taken to jail…she will finally have an audience to listen to her sing.

It is kinda sad when this is the most newsworthy story, but hey, it’s Hollywood. Oh I bet some heads are gonna roll for her early release. That Sherriff must have been paid off for blindly accepting Paris’s “medical condition” story…and from HER shrink no less. Shouldn’t they have gotten another psychiatrist in there to access her as well, a more non-partial, non-biased shrink NOT on Paris’s payroll? What a joke. I hope this judge is tough as nails and bitch slaps the whole lotta them!

well now i just happened to check back and see were there any more responses and I just had to reply.

    first LAWPUNK

You’re stating very mediocre laws which I am fully aware of as someone who has no backround in law but thanks anyway. The US law system is ridiculous if a young girl like paris is considered prison worthy. Obviously her mental condition is a load of bull but there was no reason for her to be there in the first place. waste of time money and effort. yes drinking and driving is a no no(see my second rant)I do not think she should have been sent to prison but I am aware that what the sheriff did was bold and naughty but i think it was the right thing to do.

    Secondly SHEVA

    you big old racist.
every year americans kill more americans than 9-11
ah well sure a little racism never hurt anyone
obviously drink driving is wrong plain and simple
but i still someone like paris hilton does not belong in prison she didn’t kill anyone…. what’s that you say… it’s sending a message to others to stop them from drink driving. why i think that sounds like making an example out of someone to me

suspend her license forever more by all means. make her go to those AA meetings that gayfag blohan did so well at but prison??

    thirdly WEDGE1
neither judgie or judgey are not words you idiot.

    fourthly DEATH LAWYER

Why you sound like a young judgey in the making. have much fun in life??? and by practicing criminal defense law… do you mean going to the local tech for a year or so to learn about serial murderers, rapists and pillagers like paris hilton??

so she’s rich, so she doens’t have to do any hard work ever. I would love to be in the position to do whatever the hell i want. i would like to think i would do more meaningful stuff then paris hilton thouhg. judgey is just being a meanie because he’s had to work his whole life.

may i just say that i’m not actually a fan of paris hilton.

paris hilton should finish out her term in her house:
    1. she has access to drugs and alcohol. aka she will inevitably leave her house because shes retarded and has no self control. more entertainment for us and more criminal charges!

    2. my personal theory is that she couldnt stay in jail because she was going through cocaine withdrawl.

  46. LL | June 8, 2007 at 12:58 pm

I don’t understand why anybody is surprised by this. People with money do not live in the same world as the rest of us. If Paris lived a quiet little church mouse life, none of this would have made the news. And she sure wouldn’t have gone to jail. We want to pretend we live in a classless society where rich and not-rich get treated the same, but you all know that’s never been true, right? Paris Hilton gets breaks because her last name is Hilton, not because she’s “famous.”

    Silly judgey,

    Just GTFO, please.

‘obviously drink driving is wrong plain and simple
but i still someone like paris hilton does not belong in prison she didn’t kill anyone’

She broke the law multiple times.
    Breaking the law=punishable.

Therefore, she belongs in jail because she broke the law.
    The end.
