A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days in LA County jail for violating her probation. Her sentence will start on June 5, and the judge made sure she wouldn’t be allowed on work release, furloughs, use of an alteranitve jail, or electronic monitoring instead of jail. Moments before the judge gave his decision, Paris was crying and told the court:
“I’m Sorry, I’m Sorry.” The judge called out her rep Elliot Mintz in court, describing his testimony as “completely worthless.” He also told Paris that he did not believe that she was unaware of her license suspension, adding that she had paperwork in her car stating that her license was suspended.
This judge is a fucking hero. I mean, yeah, I once saw him save a group of children by killing a bear with his bare hands. And then this other time I saw him run into a burning building to save a box of kittens. But really, this Paris thing is probably the most heoric thing he’s ever done. They should give him a cape. And also this card I made for him. I wrote his name in curly letters and drew hearts all around the margin.

That’s so heart breaking and senseless. I can only imagine how infuriating it was that the tragedy was caused by some rich brat who wasn’t even remorseful and that his parents spent all this money trying to defend what is clearly undefendable instead of making their son take responsibilty.
These stories make me furious and so sad and then I feel hopless because our world is such a shit hole and people are such monsters.
But then I ty to remember that an asshole will never have a truely good life, because the essence of a good life is being a good person, that’s where real joy comes from; kindness and helping others.
In the end that kid and his family are horrible and worthless assholes and that makes them the real losers, because if you’re an asshole you are worth nothing and you have COMPLETELY failed at life.
I know it’s corny, but it’s like the movie It’s a Wonderful Life. The circumstances are so sadly different but the message is the same; all the good people will gather together in honor of the special person who really matters.
The gentlemen who lost his life was clearly a good person because his whole community cares so much and all these people have rallied together in support of this man and his family, which means he left the world the richer more valuable person. In the end his life really meant something and accomplished all any of us can hope our life does; it brought people together in the spirit of goodness and hope.

Can anyone imagine Paris doing any type of labor in jail. She couldn’t even do a simple grocery store run, now imagine her ironing clothes, folding laundry, serving chow, or washing dishes. Let alone things like mopping the floor. How come there’s no report on her Mom and Dad’s visiting her in prison today? I did a search and didn’t come up with anything.
