Paris Hilton’s cell mate was hand-picked and it’s an inmate currently doing time for reckless driving. Additionally, the jailers have put together a special protocol for Paris’ stay, detailing how things should be done for her. TMZ reports:
Jailers were looking for someone who they believe will not try to cash in on Hilton’s stay. The woman is already in the cell that Paris will be in … jailers are already conducting searches of anything electronic — they are prohibiting cameras, cellphones and the like … a memo has gone out to the staff, warning them that anyone who takes pictures of Paris will be disciplined — i.e., fired … a “written protocol” has already been prepared especially for Paris’ stay, detailing “when and how things should be done for her.”
They wrote up a special protocol for me when I was in jail too, but that was basically for the safety of everybody else. When God gives you lethal killing machines for fists, it’s only natural that other people are a little nervous around you. And also that you fight for justice and say things like “Head’s up” as you punch off somebody’s head.
This special treatment stuff for the super rich can only be attacked one way- in the political field. Pressure your politicians, get involved in campaigning and make it an issue. Obviously there is some traction here. However, the end result would not likely be reducing the priviledges of the rich but making jail stays for others less burdensome.

How sad that all of you feel the need to get off on Paris Hilton. I agree, celeb’s do get special treatment, however, she is doing her time. She is being kept seperate so that sickos (like some of you who have posted mean, ronchy e-mails) won’t be allowed near her. I think that’s fair. It seems like there is alot of JEALOUSY out there. She was’nt let off the hook, she is doing her time. Grow up people. Some day you may have to face the same. I wish her the best and hope that she has learned a lesson and stays out of trouble in the future. I think she is a beautiful young lady who has been caught up in her fame and fortune. (Her parents havn’t helpeed any either!)
Actually, I don’t mind Paris that much. Linsay Lohan on the other hand takes FIRST place on trash/low class when it comes to women in LA…then Britney Spears. But calling them “women” is a stetch. Girls?
well I like paris and i dont think shes nearly as stupid as most people think she is. She ficked up big deal shes dealin with it. She diserves to be in jail and serve her sentence and shes gunna hav a tough time in there regardless of wether or not she get a little special treatment. If you had her money then youd want to be reasured you would come to no harm. As for writing a jail diary i think this is a great idea, maybe its something that other people in prisons could do i think it would be an interesting read from paris or other inmates which hav served more severe sentences. shes got a brain and i think she uses to the best of her advantage! Why not try make the most out of it i would. i think people treat her harshly because they are jelous its not her fault that shes got money, but she has and she lives an extravagant life because of it. most people wont ever get to live like her so we will never really undastand. she should learn from her mistakes and move on. thats what we all have to do at one point or another in life. shes a person just like us at the end of the day she shits and gets sick crys and laughs. she just lives a different life then most.

The girl is only a celebrity because of her family’s money. She should not be treated any differently then any normal person. She should serve her full sentence. Maybe it will teach her and others to grow up and accept responsibility for their actions.
