Not hardly. Comparing the Civilian Labor Force numbers (that’s the number of civilians who are employed or seeking employment) between Obama last year and all of Bush’s 8 years, you get: (using BLS numbers)
Obama Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 = 1,145,000 jobs added
Bush Jan 2001 – Jan 2009 = 8,761,000 jobs added
Granted that is 8 years of Bush to one year of Obama, but that is using Devilish Diva’s rule. So no Devilish Diva, Obama only created about 1/7 the number of jobs as Bush, by your definition.
How about comparing apples to apples and compare Obama to date vs. same number of months for Bush?
Obama Jan 2009 – July 2012 = 1,297,000 jobs added
Bush Jan 2001 – July 2004 = 2,901,000 jobs added

That was with the Bush Tax Cuts, and the costs Iraq and Afghanistan baked in.
Keep in mind that in January 2007 the Democrats took control of the House and Senate. So when the economy collapsed a year and a half later, it was the Democrats who were in charge of Congress and the entire legislative branch of the federal government.

29 months of private sector job growth? Well then, unemployment must surely be at an all time low, right? Wrong. Historic unemployment. Your numbers and the facts don’t jive.
Auto industry saved? Chrysler is now foreign owned. GM is now owned by our government who loves to make orders for GM cars then claim that GM sales are through the roof. All evidence points to GM needing another bail out ASAP. The domestic auto industry is screwed and even more so thanks to new MPG regulations.
Healthcare for all? Increased premiums for all and a new tax (see the Supreme Court ruling) that is unconstitutional at best.
Republicans are not to blame for that is happening to this country. It amazes me to see how many people want to claim that greedy old white Republicans (not your claim but a common one) are to blame for all our problems. Yet is is the socialist left that wants more people on food stamps, government provided programs, and free insurance. Obamacare is killing small businesses BTW.
