Carrie Prejean found out she was fired from the media

June 11th, 2009 // 72 Comments

Carrie Prejean apparently learned she was stripped of her crown through the media and immediately went on the offensive. She claims the Miss California Organization wanted her to pose in Playboy and appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! TMZ reports:

Prejean claims pageant honcho Keith Lewis actually asked her last month if she would take two gigs — appearing on “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” and Playboy. Prejean says Lewis told her Playboy offered $140,000 for her to pose semi-nude. She rejected both offers.
A few minutes ago we talked to Lewis who said he was not pushing her to take either gig — but merely passing the offers along. Lewis said Prejean had insisted they not turn anything down without running it by her.

In the meantime, she’s surprisingly not pissed at Donald Trump who made the decision and claimed she treated people like shit, according to Access Hollywood:

When asked if she planned to contact Trump following the news, Prejean answered by saying she believes he is acting with her best interest in mind.
“I think that he definitely is a businessman and I know that he’s looking out for my best interest and right now, I think that that maybe he [thinks this decision is in the] best interest for me,” she said.

OR maybe Donald’s a smart businessman because he saved your ass in May preventing a martyr situation while giving you enough rope to inevitably hang yourself with once the media shitstorm died down. But that’s just me. For all we know, you looked at his toupee wrong.

#47 Wow, Listener, you really had to work to twist that one around, didn’t you? Maybe you should listen a little harder. Intolerance is all about hating and working against a group of people that you don’t like, just for that reason alone. Based on bias, you deny them the rights and privileges you have. You keep them oppressed because you don’t approve of them. You know you have the right to do that because you have perfect knowledge of which people are acceptable and who deserves rights and who doesn’t. THAT is intolerance.
Intolerance isn’t about calling someone like this a bigoted asshole – intolerance would be to say that intolerant asshole has no right to speak simply because he is a bigoted asshole.

So except for the fact that homosexuals and their supporters aren’t trying to deny anyone their rights, even to free speech, and except for the fact they aren’t trying to control anyone’s lives or make anyone else live like they do, they’d fit your definition of intolerance perfectly. Pity about those very important distinctions, because otherwise they’d be crewing in the SS Intolerance right next to your sorry ass.

My spelling sucks, but it is probably twice as good as your.. French?? (mais quel crétin de première.. ) Italian? Spanish? Mandarin? Anything else? lol
Based on your comments, we know you r a fat, degenerated, all-american manufactured slob, who never left the country, and yet feels entitled to an (ignorant) opinion about the rest of the world. The same kind of slobs, who think that all they need is a good spelling (+backwards thinking) to take over.. Iraq??!! Turned out pretty disastrous, so far. lol
Meanwhile, you can check my spelling all you want. Whatever keeps your head in your ass :)))

  3. AW75

Fat degenerated all-US manufactured also applies to 37.
Time to leave the ghetto girl. And travel the world. Get some balls, girl. Go check it out for yourself. lol

    Are you faggots happy now?

She stood up and told it straight, and the PC Gestapo cut her down.
Trump is either a liar or a weak-dick. Fuck ‘em both.

    Good luck, Carrie P.!

#46 Sorry to break it you but you’re off your ass. “Public moral code”? Whose morals are those? Care to show me where they’re written? You mean like the moral code of Hammurabi of an eye for an eye? So I get to kill someone who murders one of my family and we’re all good? Sweet! I’m arming George Tillman’s and Stephen Johns’ people right now!

Oh, wait, you mean the moral code of Christianity where you turn the other cheek? Where if you live by the sword you die by it? But you’re allowed to defend youself with deadly force in this country, we’re at war with Iraq, and we even have the death penalty for murder in some states! Oh noes!
No, I bet you mean that other Christian moral code where you love your neighbor as yourself – but then you tell him he just can’t have the rights you have?

We are a nation of LAWS, not vague “moral codes”. That moral code argument was used in Loving v. Virginia to deny a white man the ability to marry a black woman and Sharley v. Georgia to punish possession of what the state deemed “illegal” material – i.e. porn. Yes! If the state can protect the body of a citizen, it can protect his mind, too, and limit access to what is indecent and morally offensive according to the state! Better turn off your monitor and never come to this site again, the NSFW shit will kick your little moral code’s ass.

Sorry to break it to you again, but the Bible isn’t the first or the last word in morality – civilizations like the Babylonians were condemning and punishing murder, theft and perjury way before Moses came on the scene. Our government is based on the philosophical concept of “socal contract” where we allow ourselves to be governed in return for protection of the natural rights inherent in every person. The laws we create are for that purpose and for social order, not to dictate or legislate morality. Furthermore, they are, by that very concept, meant to apply to all, not just those favored few who meet some predetermined standard according to your, or anyone’s “moral code”. Get over THAT.

Unfortunately religious doctrine does try to sneak in, because zealots will always be with us. Thankfully Jefferson and the rest of the crew saw them coming and did their best to minimize the damage that it wreaks, and counted on the rest of us to keep up the good work.

  6. justifiable

#45 Except it didn’t end there. She joined up with NOM and Gathering Storm and is actively working to push her PERSONAL OPINION to deny other citizens that she doesn’t like the rights she herself has – and THAT’S what intolerance looks like. People voicing THEIR opinion and telling her she’s full of shit isn’t intolerance – and if you think it is you need to check out some of the truly inolerant spots on earth. Most of them are run by religious law so you’ll have a lot of fun there dealing with that.

She is entitled to her opinion – what she isn’t entitled to is immunity. from any disagreement. “No offense” my ass. Her opinioon IS offensive to me, and I get to tell her so. She gets to disagree back if she cares to. That’s how it works, get the fuck over it.

@55: You need to read my post better. 1. you’re too angry, chill out. You must be so much fun to be around. 2. you’re too black & white. We are a melting pot & many influences to make our public life what it is. Like i said, we tweak it as time goes on, to keep us honest, but the greater good if you will, keeps it in line. Morality is real, you just don’t like it. The wind is real, you just can’t see it. You’re pissed because some people make a leap of faith in a higher being. You are a realist. But you make a leap too, believing in yourself or whatever your schtick is. Luckily for us in the US, we’ve settled on a moral code that the majority is ok with, backed by law & tradition, and we tweak it when needed. Our country’s laws aren’t perfect, but damn better than anything else out there. 3. I never mentioned the Bible, you did. 4. You’re hung up on religion. I just said it had/has an indirect influence on our country, and it does. Too bad for you. 5. You still have to follow our laws, part of public life my friend. If you don’t like them, work to change them. Again, sorry. 6. Explain to me why you believe humans have “natural rights” & I will think you have actually thought about this.

  8. amisaki

#47 If someone tries to hurt me because they don’t like me for some reason, am I being intolerant if I fight back and don’t give them permission? I mean, I want to be a tolerant person and so god forbid if I disagree with them wanting to kill me or anything.

  9. Truth Doctor

“If two people want to be happy together, who the hell is anyone else to deny that right?”

Really, she denied them that right? I didn’t know she had that power.

And if the only way you’ll be happy is to have a piece of paper then I pity you.

  10. Nelson Muntz

Typical hypocritical hardcore conservative Christian. Please, enough with this horse-mouthed bitch! She’s not even attractive. Ugly smile is ugly. Oh, and fatass trump looks hideous as usual.

  11. double abalone

#60 Thank you for taking the time to judge and decide what will make me happy, I really was at a loss as to what to do here. It all seems so clear now! Do you dispense your wisdom to hetero people living together too, or just gays? I’d hate to have them deprived of this valuable service, I’m sure they could use it from time to time.
Now, since you’re the doctor and you cleared up the confusion, there’s just one more little thing. I need you to pay me the difference in tax breaks my partner and I would otherwise be getting on our 1040 if we could file as married. Oh, and I’ll be paying a lot more in health insurance since I can’t get in on my partner’s family health plan rate at work. If I can’t afford decent health insurance it’ll end up costing you more because I’ll have to go to the ER for health care – just like the illegal aliens that are draining the system. I really want to contribute and pull my weight in society, but you’ve really made it almost impossible so I figure that’s just the price of following your sage advice. Maybe you want to ask Prejean to kick in for some of it, huh? I’ll take PayPal or even a check, cuz I’m sure you’re good for it. Kisses and thanks again, you saved me so much grief! You rock!

  12. justifiable

#57 Agreed that our country’s laws are better than anything out there, and of course they’re imperfect, humans made ‘em – but Jefferson’s vision was to achieve that “more perfect” condition, so no excuses for slacking off.

It’s not that I “don’t like morality”, I don’t like it when someone applies it incorrectly and won’t , or can’t, define it. Making a “leap of faith” to a higher being has got nothing whatever to do with it. Go on and make it, that’s your right and it sure as hell won’t piss me off as long as you don’t make me come along. I mean, I’m happy for you and all, but it really has no place here. Don”t assume I’m “hung up” on religion – I have no problem with it if it stays away from the state. When it starts dictating what civil rights people are allowed to have, then I have a major problem with it. When it starts using terns like “sin” when it comes to law, or using that as a basis for denying a civil right, I will be very humorless and very angry about it. Jefferson was just as “hung up” on this issue as I am, and was far nastier about it, too, so at least I’m in good company.

You’re arguing custom and tradiiton here, not a codified morality or law – there’s a big difference. There’s also a big difference between a civil right and a moral code. Using “moral code” when you mean “law” means you can claim that upholding a law is also enforcing or legislating morality, so Q.E.D. Again, whose “moral code”? “Morality” is subjective, and in case you haven’t noticed, it’s certainly not universal – one man’s moral holy war is another man’s terrorism. So which do you punish – and which do you reward? Hardly “black and white”, is it?

Of course religion has influenced society. But our founders saw what centuries of DIRECT applications of religion did to bankrupt Europe through holy wars and for that reason deliberately kept religious doctrine away from influencing our laws. This is a secuiar country with separation of church and state for that reason, and you change that at your peril – and the country’s.

You may be sorry you asked, here goes. Civil or natural rights are also known as human rights. The concept of “natural rights” is what our country is founded on. Jefferson, Adams and others felt they had just cause to rebel against England (and a king anointed by God) because of the violation of this concept. Rebellion against tyranny was not seen as treason, but as a duty.

The concept of natural rights comes from the Age of Reason, when philosophers like Rousseau, Locke and Hobbes were looking for answers to man and society’s problems outside of the Church or religious doctrine. They challenged the right of kings to rule over them just because that king – and the church – claimed God gave him the power, and thus there could be no such thing as an abuse of that rule. They believed that because man has a mind and is the only creature in nature who can reason, that ability means he has certain basic natural and innate rights, like the right to life, liberty, property, privacy, bodily autonomy, happiness, etc. They are not found in holy writ, they do not come from any church doctrine. These rights are universal, and are “inalienable” because, like your mind’s ability to reason, they don’t come from a government or any agency on earth, so therefore no agency on earth can take them away. Any king, government or individual who tries to inflict any tyranny, enact any enslavement or deprive anyone of them is guilty of a violation of that natural law, and you have a natural right to resist.

    Carrie,
The Style Network has asked to schedule a general meeting. Generals in the entertainment field are an opportunity for casting and producing executives to gain a better understanding of a potential talents range and demeanor in order to consider them for future projects. They are done without a specific agenda. I have had great success with my actors who have taken generals and would suggest you give it strong consideration. You never know where it may lead and sometimes they develop entire shows around you. The following days are available to meet with them here in LA. Please let me know as soon as possible if any of them work for you.
    Best regards,

“You pick and chose the the things YOU want me to do. That is not happening anymore. ”

Yeah? It’s called a CONTRACT. You know that long piece of paper with all the writing on it? Signing it wasn’t an autograph session, hon.

“What are u gonna do fire me for volunteering for the special olympics hahaha ur crazy.”

Never double dog dare someone like that and ask if they’re gonna fire you. Because the anwer is usually yes.

Good luck with that “show biz” deal, ya lame-o. Trump was right, she does treat people like shit and she’s too stupid to know that since she can’t shit solid gold beer cans, those storebought tits aren’t nearly great enough to make people take the crap she tries to dish out. Fork time, bitch, yer done.

@ 62: post is good except your natural rights argument is somewhat weak: Even though you don’t like it, Christian themes support your human “natural rights” concept-but says the rights are unique & given to humans because of ‘imago dei’ – we are made in the image of God & our government acts “on behalf” of our best interest & protects these natural rights. Founding fathers all agreed on this- that’s why we have our great documents now. You argue for natural rights backed by philosophy. It’s an argument but a weak one in my opinion. Left without some kind of moral “code” the world spirals downward. Men have the capacity for great good, but they can also do unbelievable evil. We both agree on human rights, we just differ on what supports them. I hope your philosophy comforts you when your number is called, on your last day on earth.

  17. e-rock

#62– HAHAHAHA!!!! Holy crap, thats awesome!! I love it. What a fricken air head this chick is. Did she forget SHE was also in a contract with the pageant? Trump should have fired her looong ago when he realized she lied about those pictures. These transcripts just confirmed what I knew from the get go, this chick is a self absorbed, prejudiced bimbo that has never been cultured outside of cookie cutter America where everything is peaches and ponies. Someone needs to put her ass in any other country to try and fend for herself, and see how far she gets. She would be torn to shreds by the foreigners who HATE the exact stereotypical egotistical self centered American. As long as we have assholes in our country like Miss Carrie, the rest of the world will continue to hate us, laugh at us, and never respect us.
Step outside your safe little box people, this world is full of people of different backgrounds, ethnicity, sexual preference, etc, than you and me, and thats WONDERFUL. If we were all the same, how boring would that be? We would never learn about the wonders of diversity, and how that can help educatue US. Its not all about me, myself, and I. Its about loving people for they are, no matter where they come from, and what group they may be a part of. This world would be a lot more tolerable, and war free if more people think with their hearts, not their prejudices.

  18. e-rock

Sorry, I meant # 63 with the brilliant transcript. Now the whole world can see what an idiot this chick is. LOVE IT!!!

  19. justifiable

#66 Sorry, you’re quite wrong – again. Natural rights do NOT come from a”Christian theme” and ‘imago dei’ has nothing to do with them, nor the philosophers who conceived them. You will find not find these rights outlined in the Bible, Torah or Quran, nor will you find Jesus standing up for liberty and the right to the pursuit of property. It’s man’s ability to reason that gives him his rights, not Christ. And as much as you’d like to make Washington, Adams and Jefferson all Christians and thus have all the founding fathers agree with you on your Christian interpretation of natural rights, you’d be SOL there. Sorry to break this news to you, but a belief in God doesn’t automatically make one a Christian. Jefferson in particular was a Deist with a healthy disdain for religious dogma. He felt any scripture was written by man and of course interpreted by him, and therefore contained no proof of God – just man. He preferred to look for the existence of God in his handiwork – in man and in nature. Read the Declaration again. You will see God described in a Deist’s terms – “the Creator” and “Nature’s God” – NOT God the Father, or Our Lord. Too bad if you find the concept of natural rights “weak” – but those rights are the concept this country is founded on. We are not a theocracy and we did not fight a war with England for religious freedom.

Our government is designed on Locke’s concept of “social contract”, which is why we don’t have a monarchy. We allow ourselves to be governed by a central authority by consent, and our consent alone gives the government its authority. Whatever rights we might lose in that consent, we trade for social order. Your argument that without God there is no morality is a consequentialist one – without anyone to punish us and without fear of the hereafter we’d all just murder each other and treat each other like shit because we could, right? Which is, of course, why all murders are atheists and why it was only the devout and pious who helped anyone on 9/11.

And, of course, in what is the best Christian tradition, you mean exactly the opposite of your statement in your last sentence. What you really mean is that you devoutly hope I derive no comfort at all on my last day, but it will be too late for me then and you will be smugly proven right and saved to boot. Yup, Christ would be proud of YOU. I’d rather cast my lot with Jefferson and Locke, thanks, I’m allergic to religious schadenfreude.

“Question with boldness even the existence of a god; because if there be one he must approve of the homage of reason more than that of blindfolded fear.”
-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, August 10, 1787

“Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.”
-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814

Im glad she dosent support fags dykes etc now i know she will let me eat her pussy

  21. Trump just looked for a way to be able to fire her so he himself would not look bad, so he just waited a bit and let his minions do their work. She doesnt criticize him because he still has power in the media and beauty industry that she works in. It might keep her out of her next job if she did. Does he own beauty pagents so he can get near more chicks?
She could still do the “Im A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” show, or even “The Apprentice”.
She is still a celebrity now when you look at some of the other unqualified reality show “celebrity” prentenders running about..
Perez Hilton shouldnt judge any more beauty pagents. And why are gay men running the beauty pagent industry anyway?
She didnt vilify gays – in her comment she apologised for hurting anyones feelings. Perez is the no-talent bimbo in all of this.
Elton John had the right approach – a “civil union” is a lawful union with the same fegal rights as marriage. The word “marriage” has religious significance for some people and doesnt need to be co-opted for gay people to be legally joined and recognised.

  22. I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. I’m glad I stayed true to myself.
