Melissa Etheridge and her lesbian partner, actress Tammy Lynn Michaels, are expecting twins together. A posting on Etheridge’s website says:
We are thrilled to announce that Tammy is pregnant, and expecting our twins sometime around this fall. To answer the obvious question: we used an anonymous donor from a bank. Shankyouverymuch, basically you don’t really need men to fuck up your children and leave you to raise them. Two women do it better, they have a better understanding of what their needs are besides wanting some loser’s sperm or batter, as you so eloquently put it, to impregnate them.
