Megyn Kelly Promises Not To Cross-Examine The Duggars

When the scandal broke, FOX News had devoted less than two minutes to the Duggars, according to Media Matters, while other networks who aren’t the propaganda arm of the Republican Party took the time to cover a politically connected lobbyist who warned that LBGT Americans are a threat to a children despite molesting his own sisters when they were children making him the actual, legitimate threat. So naturally Fox was the perfect network for the Duggars to sit down and tell their side of the story which Megyn Kelly promises to let them do in a “tough but fair” interview where she’ll let them say whatever they want without questioning it. Via Us Weekly:

“I’ll take that reputation as a tough but fair journalist,” Kelly said on her program on Monday. “However, this isn’t going to be a cross-examination of a family. It’s going to be an interview. I want to hear their story. And I think America wants to hear their story now.”

And you really know the interview will be fair because Megyn Kelly is pissed that Josh Duggar is being tied to Republican politicians just because he’s been frequently photographed campaigning with Republican politicians. A lot. Via Mediaite:

“The fact that a presidential candidate has posed with some random member of the family that’s going through this issue is somehow a problem for the GOP’ers?”

Yup. Yes, it is because that’s what happens when you court an entire voting bloc that fell out of the same hole. No clown car vagina risk, no clown car vagina reward. So with that in mind, I wouldn’t hold your breath on Megyn Kelly asking things like: Did Josh molest a five-year-old? Why didn’t you let the police question him during the official investigation? And does telling your kids that semen causes cancer and tying their hands together if they’re caught masturbating turn them into holy servants of the Lord or just make them want to molest more kids in their sleep? Don’t expect any of that.
