After her bitchin’ party didn’t garner the immediate adoption rights to four-year-old Mercy, Madonna fled Malawi this morning on her private jet. The AP reports:
Police roadblocks prevented reporters from approaching the airport but one police officer said Madonna carried David, her adopted Malawian son, up the steps of the Gulfstream jet.
It was bound for London’s Gatwick Airport, air traffic officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to journalists.
During take-off, onlookers reported a man in a fedora swinging from the landing gear with a whip. He was also heard yelling “That woman belongs in a museum!”

Nice to see common sense prevail and that being a ‘megastar’ and having a squillion dollars doesn’t mean you always get what you want (reports are she is gutted at not getting her own way for about the first time ever). Welcome to the real world Madge!! The judge is right in saying that allowing Madonna to swoop in and adopt whomever she likes opens the door for anyone to do that and child trafficking is the next step. If she is so desperate to adopt an impoverished child then Madonna only has to look in either the UK or the US and unfortunately I am sure there will be plenty of children to choose from.

I bet it’s not long until we’ll have an addon to The Sims. It’ll be called “Race to World-Domination”. You’ll be choosing between the two superpowers Brangelina and Madonna and your objective is basically to conquer the world by adopting it. First you start off in Africa, difficulty-level: easy. All you have to do is go there, bring cameras and lolly-pops and whoops, there you go: 10 children adopted. Eventually it get’s a little harder and you have to tip some locals to be able to adopt more of those little attentions-guarantees. Because if your level of public-awareness drops below at least 1000 Newspaper-comments dayly and 50 human-rights-watch lawsuits at the same time you’ll lose big time.
Well, next step is Asia and Latin America and if you’re real good you even get to Russia, Europe or the U.S.
