With only one bodyguard to protect her, Lindsay Lohan is apparently trekking through India saving children. How, exactly? Who the fuck knows? What’s important is that she’s tweeting about it and somehow being considered a reliable source. Via RadarOnline:
While the trip was originally set up through philanthropist Scott Lazerson’s Interface Foundation, RadarOnline.com has learned that Lohan is on the trip with a UK-based production company seeking to do a documentary on human trafficking.
Publicly, Lohan is putting on a brave face.
“Going to make one of my lifelong dreams on my list of things to do in this lifetime!!!!! Wish me luck! Fill you guys in when I return to USA,” she wrote on her Twitter page. “Over 40 children saved so far…… Within one day’s work…… This is what life is about….. Doing THIS is a life worth living!!! Oh, and I’m talking about being in India.”
I love how she adds “Oh, and I’m talking about being in India” at the end. Because even Lindsay Lohan realizes no one believes she’s anywhere but an LA restroom blowing coke up her nose with a hand dryer. Which is actually impressive when you think about it. (The self-awareness, not the coke thing.)

I’ve read it’s for BBC3 which means it will be a dumbed down, piece of shit aimed at clueless teenagers who’ll never watch it anyway. BTW, for those who are unaware, BBC3 is a digital TV channel in the UK whose ratings are so poor there’s talk of the BBC scrapping it to save money.
