You know why “musicians” have to be such good “performers” now a days? Because their talent musically stinks and they have to compensate with eye candy. Luckily for the artist there are enough shallow tone deaf people to like the music and pay for it. Anyone, and I mean anyone, can sing with voice overs, compression, and some auto tune. If you want some real music and talent then listen to David Gilmour on vinyl. Throw on some Robert Johnson. That’s if you want soul and to actually feel connected to the music and the human condition. If you just want a piece of gum to chew on for a minute and an excuse to be hedonistic then move along. Some people are just as dead and lifeless as the music they listen to.
