WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel Helps Super Max Fight Cancer

This video showing Jimmy Kimmel choking up on live television last night has been going viral as balls today as it damn well should. It features Jimmy wearing a Rainbow Loom suit made by a group of elementary school students to help their classmate “Super Max” battle cancer. You can bid on the suit on eBay where 100% of the proceeds will go to cancer research (Kim.), or donate directly to The Max Love Project. And before one of you even think of saying this is just another Obama scheme to distract us from the literal Iron Man suit he’s building to take our guns, probably, but now’s not the time. Just sit on it.

  1. Cock Dr

Damn you blogger for pulling on my heartstrings. Ow!

  2. I was strong until I heard Jimmy choke up…

  3. kmg

I was beginning to think it was just me, but hearing Kimmel choke up last night was actually awesome! He is donating 100% to this little guy’s cancer fund and maybe it was also because he will soon be a dad!

    • He’s already a dad.

The sole reason why Kimmel is doing this because, well, he is a more than decent human being.

Good for you, Jimmy; hang in there, Max.

  4. Awww, this is so nice :’)

  5. Nothing sadder in the whole friggin’ world than sick kids. *sniff*

  6. Current bid of the suit on Ebay is already at $8,000 as of this post. Kudos to Jimmy Kimmel! If this had been a Kardashian “charity”, she would have pocketed around $7,999.00 give or take. My math might be off.

  7. Kimmykimkim

    Ugh, I fuckin hate kids.

  8. Well done, Jimmy. That’s a great kid.

  9. Sarah

Kimmel is a cryer but I cried at this one too. Fight hard Max!

  10. Cute kid. Sweet Jimmy. HOT principal!

  11. Leila

I’m a complete mess now. Jimmy is awesome–he just can’t hold it together when it comes to bad stuff happening to kids [see his response to the Newtown shooting] but he still addresses them on his show and that is awesome. The fact that he was still standing by the end there makes him a far stronger person than me.
For whatever it’s worth, sending love and all good wishes for Super Max.

  12. I loathe Kimmel, but I have nothing negative to say about this. Good deed and clearly a genuine moment. Good on him

Kudos to Jimmy Kimmel. That was a genuine moment and he did a really great thing for that little boy. GET WELL MAX!
