Jessica Simpson performed on CBS’ The Early Show this morning and briefly spoke to Maggie Rodriguez. The closest the conversation came to her expanded figure was when Maggie asked how Jessica is doing after going through “a lot lately.” To which Jessica responded, “Everything’s really great. It’s all about keeping the faith. That’s why I pray out loud.”
After watching the video where Jessica Simpson looks surprisingly svelte, I almost believe this has simply been a case of horrible wardrobe choices. And by horrible wardrobe choices I mean she’s been duct-taping bags of marshmallows to the inside of her outfits. “Tell me I can’t pick out my own clothes. I’ll show them.” *TAPE* “Yeah, this is hot….”

I agree that’s she’s probably wearing an expensive girdle. I’ve never worn one, but I see advertisements for them everywhere and it looks like the higher-end ones probably work like magic! I also figure she must have gone on one of those lemon-juice-and-cayenne-pepper flushes right after that performance with the mom jeans and that hideous belt. Truth be told, the world IS making way too big of a deal over her stature. I don’t remember correctly, but it seems like it’s even more of an uproar than when she got really skinny for DoH (?) Either way, it’s a sad reflection on the American public’s taste in music that she’s a “superstar”–there are so many underground musicians that are amazingly talented and never get the credit they deserve. I think you have been looking at Internet porn too long. I am a petite fit 5’2″ female. I have worked with men in the technical field long enough to know that men would love to have a fit female with nice breasts and a small shapely butt, but unfortunately most female Americans are overweight. I get tired of hearing that same worthless argument about 12 year old bodies from fat Americans. Men want a fit female but they are hard to find because most of the US population are overweight and try to justify being fat. It looks like Jessica currently weighs 140 pounds on her 5’3″ body. Could be that she just gained weight naturally in response to being unhappy or it could be a publicity stunt, who knows. Either way, judging by the interview, she seems really unhappy w herself. It’s sad and strange. She has access to great opportunities and is still young enough to be able to make something of herself / create a better image or what have you.

Apparently you watch too much TV and read too many tabloid magazines. Go to your local mall or grocery store and see how many overweight Americans there are. Americans are getting fatter and fatter every year. Americans are in denial about being fat and will deny that a person like Jessica is overweight. Jessica looks like she is 30 pounds overweight like the typical American. Only one percent of the US population are underweight and they are either a celebrity, have an eating disorder, athlete, or sick person. It is time America get back into shape.
