Less than two weeks after filing for divorce, Jessica Simpson has bought and moved into a $3 million Beverly Hills home.
“She’s happy to have a house that’s hers,” someone close to the pop star tells PEOPLE. “This is the first time she’s making her own decisions.” Among them: keeping the divorce proceedings as quiet as possible by requesting the case be assigned to a private judge and not aired in open court.
Some details are known, however. Simpson asked that she not pay alimony to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Nick Lachey

Jessica is hot but not totally. I agree that she is much cuter in the pic shown above than what she looks like now. She’s an 8 out of 10. I am sure Lachey will get half of 35mil(at least) so lets not jump on him for being a moron right away. If he has a good lawyer I’m sure he could get some kind of alimony as well. But then he would risk being asked all the time, “Hey Nick! How’s your mangina feelin’!?!”
