Adding even more credence to the theory that Bryan Singer is just gonna act like no other X-Men movies were made after X2, Hugh Jackman is joining the cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past alongside Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen which was pretty much obvious to anyone even remotely familiar with the iconic cover to the classic Chris Claremont storyline and I now look like a Ken doll from the waist down. Goddammit. THR reports:
Seeds of a tie-in between the trilogies were sown when Jackman memorably cameoed as Wolverine in First Class. The fanboy world began speculating about Jackman’s possible return once news broke that Stewart and McKellen were returning. Jackman recently wrapped production on The Wolverine, a sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
What I really want to see is Bryan Singer try to rope Halle Berry into this thing considering the last time they worked together she told him to “kiss her black ass,” but mostly to watch him get horribly punched in the face for making a boring Superman movie where the bad guy’s plan is real estate. “So, in this one Lex Luthor tries to, uh, shit, um… *sees Coldwell Banker office across the street* Build equity! Diabolical, right?”
