For some reason (maybe becsuae I read it in the middle of the night), the ending didn’t feel abrupt at all for me. I loved the way it ended and I have no problem waiting patiently for the next installment. It didn’t feel like much of a cliffhanger, just enough to want to read the next book, but nothing like, say, Catching Fire.
