George Bush has cat-like reflexes

December 14th, 2008 // 140 Comments

President George Bush had shoes thrown at him during a press conference in Baghdad yesterday. An Iraqi journalist, who surprisingly didn’t get his ass shot, whipped not one but BOTH of his shoes at the president after calling him a “dog.” Personal feelings of Bush aside, you gotta admit the bastard is quick which will apparently come in handy considering the Secret Service are lame-ducking it themselves. To emphasize my point, check out the agent who hops up to the stage after the attack then acts like he’s on top of things: “No, Mr. President, I wasn’t just playing GameBoy. Hey, there’s shoes back here…”

Thanks to Joel. You weren’t fucking kidding me.

God. I would have not been able to contain my laughter if someone had thrown shoes at me, and then i ducked them, and watched someone epic fail and get the shit tackled out of them afterwords.

Some people need to calm down a bit.

Despise the President, but this lifts the spirits of some Americans…Idk why, don’t ask. But seeing him duck and laugh it off and not care is kinda like “Oh, he’s kinda like us” or some shit. All the shit that fucker has faced and he’s still in high hopes, he just doesn’t give a fuck what anyone thinks besides him. If he fucks the country up in the process, then so be it.

What they’re not reporting is the droves of other Iraqi “reporters” who were profusely thanking President Bush for freeing Iraq from the terrorizing reign of Sadaam Hussein. Iraq had no “free press” before President Bush, and the reporter who threw the shoes at Bush should also be thanking him, for he now has the freedom to throw shoes. Where as before if he had thrown something at Hussein, he would have been dipped in acid and fed through a paper shredder by now. Whatever you say about Bush, we’ve been safe here in the US by bringing the war to the terrorists since 9/11.

That fucker needs to get killed “accidentally” That fuck would have been killed immediately if Sadam were there and that douche will get a trial now. Stupid Americans don’t understand the rights we have and spread around the globe and obviously by some of the comments here, you don’t either.

    @14
I have lived in other countries (four and counting) and the funny thing is about the people living in them — they’re proud. What I mean to say is that they are proud of their nationality and their country, as proud as Americans are of theirs. And since when were the terrorists and the fanatics supposed to be taken for the country they were living in? If that were true, America would be measured by the people who attacked the WTC. In this case, this particular reporter had been captured and tortured by Shiites and was angry with the Bush admin. for instigating it and when the announcement came that they wouldn’t be leaving for another three years, he was none too happy about it. Know something before you post something and Long Live Free Speech!

I’m no fan of Bush, but that is really frightening that the secret service slowly ambles up on stage like 5 seconds after all the shit went down. Someone should have dove in front of the shoe and caught it in the head. That’s their job and I hope someone gets fired for it.

Do you really think with all of the intelligence and technology we have that Bush couldn’t find Bin Laden? It’s not that that CAN’T find him…it’s that they don’t WANT to.

LOL, you fucking Liberal pussies are so goddamn predictable. Bush had a BIG part in the 9-11 attacks??? yes, he planned the whole thing I’m sure. You portray the guy as the world’s biggest dumbass but he’s then capable of orchestrating an attack on his own country and no body knows about it but you apparently. What a fucking retard you are.

And FYI, Foxnews is gonna air the praise given to Pres Bush on tonights programming.

I wholey expected your pre-programmed liberal America hating response. Even when confronted with the absolute fact that we haven’t been attacked since 9-11, you still can’t accept it, when in fact it was the lax anti-terrorist effort by the Clinton’s that was responsible for the attacks….fucking dumbass.

Yeah, he’s gonna get executed, gonna get sent to Gitmo, blah blah blah.

Wake up, Americans. Anybody with their eyes open the past 5 years knew immediately this guy would be a hero:

“The Iraqi journalist who hurled his shoes at President Bush during his farewell visit to Baghdad was hailed a hero in the Arab world today as thousands marched to demand his release.”

Just watch. The Iraqi government will find some way to give the tiniest slap on the wrist possible, and you know they don’t even want to do that.

Unilateral invasions based on LIES tend to be unpopular. Apparently some Americans are too dumb to grasp that simple fact even now.

Reports from Iraq say that the person who threw the shoe was arrested and had hot cold placed into his hands. Doctors say that he will never recover full movement as his hands were cooked for several minutes. Reports also say that his first son and daughter are now missing–they will never be found.

Fox News proudly broadcasts pro-government propaganda. They were recently sued in Florida for distorting facts and disseminating lies (unfortunately, they weren’t convicted). It is a miracle this guy was even in the room considering the exhaustive screening this admin. does to make sure no one who disagrees with them within ear shot.
I just heard this story on the radio and the journalist said something like, “the first one is for the war in my country” and the second is for “all the widows and orphans and bodies” or something (anyone who feels like finding the quote… would be…less lazy than me).
Why do you find it so offensive that anyone might criticize this admin.? Or maybe you are like this Pres., like a child dangerously in denial with the facts.
