Fred Savage, star of The Wonder Years, is going to be a father. According to his agent, his wife Jennifer is expecting the couple’s first child in August. I really don’t have much to add, except that Kevin Arnold having sex is one of those things that’s kinda unexpectedly depressing. Like when you accidentally give a homeless guy a twenty that’s not monopoly money.

I <3 Fred Savage. I had a monstrous crush on him when I was a kid and he was on The Wonder Years. I applaud him for not being like so many other child stars. He didn’t turn into a raging freak, a drug addict, an alcoholic, or a shitty man whore who uses his long ago childhood fame as a step stool into women’s beds.

Ol’ Fred Savage, huh? I use to love that show Wonder Years. Didn’t Fred Savages brother play in a more recent show? Can’t remember the name of it. But the boys name was Cory. His best friend was Shawn and his girlfriend was Tapanga. And actually Fred Savage was a guest star on one of the shows. He played a teacher.

For the past five or six years Fred has been providing the voice of Oswald the Octopus, on the Nick Jr. show: Oswald. If you would all spend a little less time at “work”, and a little more time sitting your kids in front of the teevee with a bowl of Cheeto’s, you might one day be as knowledgable as myself.

Also needs to be noted that on the aforementioned kid’s show, Oswald’s BFF is a penguin named Henry. His voice, naturally, is provided by the actor who played Squiggy on Laverne and Shirley. If nobody else is old enough to remember that show I am quitting this site forever and heading directly to the chat rooms of the AARP.

Fred’s brother turned ugly quicker than he did. Once puberty started, his nose began to resemble a punching bag and he didn’t have a septum. I never got that show, however I was already in college when it premiered on TV. I was busy smoking reefer and checking out the chicks at the nightly keg parties. God, I feel old now!
