I really can't stand Liars but everyonce in a while...find myself telling little white lies....
such as:
my girlfriend asks me my opinion on her really ugly shirt...I say..."it's ok but I wouldn't buy it" when I really meant..HELLS NO..BURN THE DAMN THING
and other lies I'd rather not mention
Do you guys lie much? and who do you lie most to?

Scouts honor!
I'm known to be brutally honest. As my dad says, I'm honest to a fault sometimes.
A white lie does slip by me sometimes, though. 9 times out of 10 it's work related. ;)

All the fucking time. I truly do. Usually it's harmless stories to just make conversation more interesting. If someone asks me if I'm a liar THAT is when I'm honest. Otherwise, I'm like a secret agent. You don't really know if you should believe what I'm saying. Luckily, I make it sound very convincing in the first place so you don't know it's fake anyway.
I probably have a disorder. I know.

This reminds me of that riddle I heard when I was younger where there were two sisters and one was a liar and one wasn't, and one said, 'One of us is a liar. All I can say is my sister is lying about not being a liar' or some shit like that.
The fact it took me ages to figure it out traumatised me for the rest of my life. :(

Being truthful is generally the best thing to be, but sometimes you have to lie to protect the feelings of others

I kind of become a compulsive liar when I'm taken off guard, or when there's no other issue. I'm quite good at it too.
I tend to be brutally honest most of the time though. Especially to my friends, probably because I take them seriously.

little white lies are ok here and there... for instance:
my mom: are you back on a healthy diet?
me: of course i am silly (while munching on cheetos and oreos)

I'm in sales, and I think most of my success had been due to my brutal honesty to my customers and prospects. I do the occasional spin job, but for the most part I'm pretty up front and I think they respect that.
In a personal sense, I very rarely lie, but when I do people usually believe me. I have a much harder time with some people believing the truth sometimes (cause I usually laugh if they question my sincerity, it's like a knee-jerk reaction).

It's much easier to be honest. Sometimes because I was honest about it I've ended up having the joke "be on me", or been a bit embarassed, or gotten a "look", but all in all I'm happy about it. It's easier to be yourself all the time and come off as a bit strange or awkward, than to pretend for a while and find out no one knows you and you don't know yourself.
Oh yeah, and it makes some people hate or love you, but at least you know where you stand. I don't lie to my friends, and they don't lie to me. I've had a lot more guy friends then female friends mostly, but the girls I've come to call friends now are pretty blunt and honest and that's how I like it; they'll tell me if I acted stupid or if I'm being annoying and that's fine. It shouldn't be that big of a deal amongst friends.
I think the only fibbing I've done is with my parents when I want to be left alone.
"Are you fine?"
"As good as I can be."
"Have you finished your work"
"I'm almost done"
