After Ryan Jenkins, a contestant on VH1′s Megan Wants a Millionaire, became a fugitive for murdering his stripper wife Jasmine Fiore, it was revealed he had a 2005 conviction for assaulting his girlfriend at the time. Obviously this raised questions about background checks for VH1 reality shows, and producers issued a statement that their vetting process is thorough. But not so much. An exclusive source to The Superficial reveals that the contestant known as “Audi” (above) isn’t even rich and also has a criminal record:
I know for sure their vetting process is bogus. A local friend and barbershop owner, Audi of Central Ave Barbershop, (Central Ave Pawtucket RI), was on the show and is not a millionaire. He also has been to jail several times for selling drugs.
Of course, one has to ask what’s the greater crime here: Allowing ex-cons on a dating show or letting Bret Michaels shoot reality spin-offs out of his penis? Personally, only one of these makes me fear the collapse of civilization, and it’s not the bald guy up top. Unless that’s really a picture of Bret after passing out in a tanning bed. (Dude, you forgot your wig.)
