Do #44, I hate to break it to you, I really thought Gemma Ward was gorgeous but a whole bunch of big-name models including Gemma, Heather Marks and Lily Cole were accused by many fashion insiders of sleeping their way up, many were high-class callgirls and their mothers were too, and they used their connections to get ahead. Gemma Ward had no need to be a call girl, what a load of baloney. Her father is a doctor and her mother a nurse, her family have money, OLD money, Gemma got her break from the Australian TV contest ‘Australia’s Next Top Model’, she didn’t win but she got a contract with the New York agency IMG out of it because they spotted her quirky ‘alien’ look, which they liked.

It’s sad that there are so many JEALOUS and envious people in the fashion world. The REAL reason she hasn’t been modelling is because her boyfriend Heath Ledger died just before they were about to make their relationship public, so naturally, she was grief-stricken as it was so unexpected his death.

If she was a real call girl, after fame and a fortune, she would have come out and sold her story about her and Heath, but the relationship was precious to both her and Heath and that would have been a betrayal, so she dealt with it by leaving fasion and comfort eating. She is now studying at theatre at Yale, but no doubt will do part time modelling work and film work.
