Cuba Gooding Jr. Thinks O.J. Simpson Is Innocent Now

“Wig? Nah, my man John’s just got great genetics.”

After playing O.J. Simpson in FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story — the miniseries about the most famous American criminal trial in history that cast John Travolta and expects itself to be taken seriously — Cuba Gooding Jr. is still on the fence about the Juice’s guilt. “There’s just so much information,” he says. Yes, and that information has been used for years by everyone whose brain understands that leaving your own blood at the scene of a crime points directly to “Yep, he did that shit.” And that includes O.J. himself, who famously wrote his slasher fan fic novel If I Did It which would be like Lindsay Lohan writing a book called Suppose I Blow People For Cash. (Spoiler: She does and she also accepts loosies, poppers, or if you know how to photoshop Oprah into a Christmas card.)
