It’s Cindy Crawford Without Photoshop
On Friday, an unretouched image of Cindy Crawford started making the Twitter/reddit rounds and eventually was tweeted by British ITV News anchor Charlene White who claimed it was for an upcoming Marie Claire issue featuring Cindy without Photoshop because she’s an “inspiration.” Except, nope, not at all, according to Marie Claire:
An unretouched photo of Cindy Crawford has been circulating on Twitter this morning, revealing a body that defies expectations—it is real, it is honest, and it is gorgeous.
While the claim accompanying the photo (which you can see here) is that it will be printed in an upcoming issue of Marie Claire, its origins are actually from a December 2013 cover story from Marie Claire Mexico and Latin America. It appears that this unretouched version is a leak.
No matter where the photo came from, it’s an enlightenment — we’ve always known Crawford was beautiful, but seeing her like this only makes us love her more.
“Cindy Crawford’s natural, unretouched body is such an honest enlightenment that everybody involved, including Cindy herself, agreed it should be digitally enhanced to look completely different than it does in real life because natural, honesty, gorgeous expectations. More beautiful word things. (Is this working?)” – Shorter Marie Claire
