Chris Brown publicly apologizes to Rihanna (VIDEO)

July 20th, 2009 // 65 Comments

In an Internet video released today, Chris Brown has finally made a public apology for the February 8 beating of Rihanna prior to the Grammys. In the two minute, scripted as all hell apology, Chris states his lawyers advised him against speaking at all about the incident despite his deepest wishes to do so. He then goes on to reiterate he’s seeking counseling, speaking to his minister and digging up the bones of Gandhi which he’ll consume in a protein shake thus lowering his unquenchable thirst for violence. Okay, maybe that last part didn’t happen, but would it hurt? Sleep on it.

After you beat a woman, you’ll always be a woman-beater.
He should have sincerely apologized to her personally….And that shirt is freaking whack just like his apology…

That was the fakest “apology” I have ever seen!!!

It’s just a pathetically desperate PR attempt for damage-control and is “too little, too late” !!!

This jerk actually refers to his brutal assault of that young girl merely as “the incident” and as “those few moments” and as “what happened” and as “what occured” (as if HIS actions were some ‘cosmic’ incident over which he had no personal control).

    Unbelieveable!!

And who cares that he spoke with his “mommy” and his “priest” (or whatever) about what he did or that he ‘grew up in a home where he saw domestic violence’?!

    Oh boo hoo for him.

    Give me a break !!

    What a jerk!!

He’d better make another video where he begs that other jerk P-Diddy to adopt him!!!

As far as I’m concerned — this loser’s career is over.

He must be the secret love child of Ike Turner and / or Bobby Brown.

What a coward, a bully — and a fool (if he thinks anyone believes this “apology” is real).

It was really nice of him to make this video.
But, sorry doesn’t fully change the fact he abused his girlfriends, but it does make me liek him more.

  12. First of all, his ego is ridiculous. “Role model”? Even before the woman-beating he was nowhere near what any sane person would consider a “role model”.

Secondly, in such an important piece of footage and such an important speech, fucker couldn’t even say “ask” correctly. Are you kidding me? Is “ask” such a hard word to say for rappers and r&b singers? They say “ass” all the time! Just add a “k” onto it! For fuck’s sake…

  13. Iambananas

    Oh, look… a falling star.

  14. Rihanna did not apologize for that actually, it seemed more like a public apology. I sure about what he is mostly because of the extent that it has damaged his career’m sorry. I hope he really does not learn from this incident.
