WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit was found dead along with his wife and 7-year-old son in what police believe was a murder-suicide. Benoit and his wife and son were discovered Monday afternoon in their Atlanta home. TMZ reports:
Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths. One source told TMZ that Benoit was texting friends during Sunday’s WWE “Vengeance” Pay-Per-View program — possibly watching the show with his son, who may have been alive at the time. According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself Monday in a weight room inside the family home.

As far as the steroids. I have a son that gets put on steroids for asthma attacks. I hate it when he gets put on them because he is not the same child on them as he is off of them.
I am not saying he did not do this and even if the test show he was on steroids it does not make what he did any less horrific.
I also think it is just mind boggling for the fans. After hearing what a stand up guy he was that loved his family and his views of respect how could he do something like this. I would love to hear now after everything that has come out what the people that knew him have to say. From what has been said so far from friends and family this does not make sense. I want to know if any of the people that spoke on the tribute show would recant what they said and say if there were and tall tell signs of this.

Does anyone not find it just a little odd that the first message was sent at 3:53 am Sunday and the last message was sent at 3:58 am Sunday but no one informed the police of the messages until 12:45 pm Monday. That is over a 24 hour time span between the text messages and someone doing something about the text messages. Chris Benoit was OBVIOUSLY trying to get someone to his house and no one came. Nancy was already gone but someone could have possibly saved Daniel and Chris. In my opinion those text messages were a cry for help and no one responded. Did anyone ever think of that.

Chris Benoit was a great wrestler and very polite and respected human being…I always liked him as a person as much as a great wrestler..
i knew that he had a bad thing when i was watching tv waiting for his match with CM Punk but he didn’t show up…after few days i knew about his death.
I wonder what kind of reason that stressed such a polite calm guy like him to do these actions then to kill himself…i’m almost sure that it was a one time snap cause of a big women fight with his wife who wanted to leave him for the last few years.
I’m not sorry for saying that..but the first time i saw his wife around the ring watching him fighting…i said out loud that this woman is very loud for Chris Benoit…not his type at all.
The time proved that i was right.
Of course i’m so sad about his little kid…but in such a weird crazy moment who knows what Chris had in his mind…i think he thought in this disturbing moment that it’s better and safer for his son to not be in this world alone so it’s better for him to be in the sky with him and mum and god.
Even in his last moment he didn’t forget to send apologizing sms to his friends about his match..then some other sms’s to tell about the dogs…etc
Then we can’t forget that he left the bible beside his wife and kid.
Strange sad story but i almost can see that Chris was a victim himself as much as his kid and his wife.
