Yesterday, President Obama fully endorsed same-sex marriage rights which, whether it was a contrived political calculation or not, still marks an historical moment when an American president has come out in support of an extremely controversial topic that of course was immediately spun as a war on Christianity and marriage, but none of that’s as hilariously stupid as Bristol Palin‘s latest blog post, so we’ll stick to that. Here she is criticizing Obama for claiming his two daughters helped motivate his decision before literally saying with a straight face that children are better off being raised by a mother and a father:

While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads. In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that – as great as her friends may be – we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview.

Setting aside the fact that parents being raised by a male and a female parent is a debunked horseshit Christian talking point, Bristol Palin is a single mom whose own god-fearing, “pro-family” mother actively uses her lawyers and political clout to keep Levi Johnston away from his son just for spite. But then again, that’s involving reality in the discussion which everyone knows has a liberal bias. (*tips hat* Mr. Colbert.) So using Bristol’s own logic, she might as well toss her son at a pack of wolves because it doesn’t have a father and will probably just grow up to watch Glee. Oh, did I mention she takes a swipe at Glee? She takes a swipe at Glee:

Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it would’ve been nice if the President would’ve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.

“Haha! It’s funny ’cause that show has faggots in it.” – Bristol Palin reading over her ghostwriter’s shoulder.

Now Obama, Dick Cheney and the Iowa legislature are all in agreement on Gay Marriage.
Obama and Bush are so much alike that Obama supporters desperately grasp at anything that would highlight a difference between the two. What a joke.

  2. You should put “pro-family” in quotes, bro.

  3. Amanda

Honest question here. Why are so many opposed to gay marriage? I do not want to standard religious rhetoric response. (Separation of church and state….remember?) I am trying to understand the logic behind all of this hate. (Not that there is much logic involved in hate)

I wish that entire family would head back to Alaska, open up a happy little meth lab, and finish out there lives very very quietly.

    • Archie Leach

Ya know meth labs have a tendency to blows up and seriously hurt or kill the persons in the vicinity……..(everyone crossing fingers and counting “one thousand one”, “one thousand two”, “one thousand three”, “one thousand four”, “one thousand……).

Fathers help shape your world view…..

You had a baby at a young age and plastic surgery. I’d say your dad didn’t do a very good job. shut up.

  6. AteIsEnough

This dumb bitch is as ignorant and dumb as her cunt of a mother. : )

  7. hijkmno

Somebody better put Chinny McChin-Chin back where she came from or Mama Palin might have trouble becoming POTUS, ya’all.

  8. SFRowGuy

Is she really that stupid? Like daughter, like mother?

  9. Victoria

This woman PROACTIVELY stopped her baby-daddy from seeing his son. She had Sarah spend tons and tons of money on it and tried to keep the court proceedings private so she could cut him off for good without the public knowing about it. Nice try, Bristol, but we’re onto you.

  10. Die already...

I don’t understand why anyone would listen to anything this cum dumpster baby factory says. Her only claim to fame (aside from being whelped from Sarah Palin; ugh) is spreading her legs to get knocked up by her boyfriend, having the baby out of wedlock, then hitting the lecture circuit to moralistically lecture others about not having premarital sex “because it’s a sin and you shouldn’t do it if you have any integrity”. Yeah. She’s a money grubbing idiot, just like her mom; the media should just move on to the next idiot to ask they opinion about something they’re intellectually incapable of understanding…

  11. tonedead

Why the hell should I care what this girl thinks? Her only claim to fame is being the daughter of the dumbest person to ever ruin a campaign.

  12. Jeremy

Wait kids need a mom and dad? Isnt she a signal mom, so what she is saying her kid needs taken away so it can have a mom and a dad.

  13. rat mcgee

    look!

    an idiot speaks!

    and other idiots pay attention!

i don’t want to live on this planet anymore…
