Parents Television Council advisory board member Billy Ray Cyrus is apparently not happy with the group’s decision to accuse GQ of promoting pedophilia based on the magazine’s Glee photo shoot, according to TMZ:
Sources connected with Billy Ray tell TMZ … the singer is “disappointed” at the statement from Council Prez Tim Winter. We’re told Billy Ray feels like the Council “has recently been spending all its time attacking people rather than promoting family television.”
…. Papa Cyrus — who we’re told was not consulted before Winter issued his statement — is getting “fed up with the Council.”
Keep in mind, the PTC also went after Miley Cyrus for her “Who Owns My Heart” video, yet still kept Billy Ray as a member, which says pretty much all I needed to hear about the council’s credibility.
