As I compiled this list at the beginning of the week, I found myself smiling when I saw the top post of 2010 because I completely forgot about these beautiful, almost quintessentially romantic set of photos. Here’s Hilary Duff accepting Mike Comrie‘s proposal in literally the greatest way possible. Because, honestly, at the end of the day, this is the only reason men even ask in the first place. Call it our ace in the hole, if you will. Plan B. “Break glass in case of emergency.” You get the picture. Anyway, I’m not sure Hilary Duff even said the word, “yes.’ Just “Ohmygod!” followed by the same exact face Britney Spears makes walking into McDonald’s, but less sexual.

Here’s “Lizzie McGuire” demonstrating the lap dive to perfection. She is just one of the latest in a long line of very orally accomplished Disney talent which stretches all the way back to Annette Funicello, if Bryan Highland was to be believed. According to Bryan, Annette was known in the business as, “The Mouth” because of a particular talent! I figure if Annette and “Lizzie McGuire”, two of Disney’s most wholesome stars are doing it so well, there must be more going on at Disney than just producing TV and movies. Think: Lilo, Xtina, Brit-Brit, Miley, Demi and even earlier: Doreen Tracy…all caught in various stages of undress and in compromising positions.
I don’t think you can call this a Disney screw-up. Hilary Duff doesn’t do anything dirty in the public eye; if this picture IS what it looks like, then the fact is that she is doing something private with her FIANCE in, get this, her own house. No one expects a 23 year-old engaged woman, who happened to work for DIsney IN THE PAST, to retain the chastity she was known for in her teenage years. She is not sleazy at all, and it’s way too much of a stretch to compare her to Britney, Miley, or Christina…

Maybe I got carried away, but at least one of my points was that I don’t think Disney has anything to do with these pictures. Just because she worked chez Disney in the past doesn’t mean it was through Disney that she learned how to give a blowjob; it’s highly unlikely, seeing as she never had any controversies while she was on their payroll.
