I don’t see anything wrong with this. I mean, she had a legitimate reason to go… her fiance died in 9/11 and if she has substance abuse or some type of issues with maintaining healthy relationships (duh) because of that close personal tragedy than maybe visiting the site could help her somehow. I’m not a professional so I’m not sure. Maybe it was a stunt thought up by the producers of the show but then again, it could be for legitimate reasons.
