British trashiness is like, say, Belgian violence. Or Icelandic heat.
You don’t typically expect it, but when it happens, it does so in confusingly awesome and probably volcanic proportions.

I’d kill for a glimpse at all the shit he decides not to wear before he leaves the house.

I’m probably treading on shaky ground here, but isn’t Azaleaface a very, very niche form of racism?

I am not an American.
I do not live in America. I am not anti-American either. I do, however, live in a world that has been existing in America’s shadow since long before I was born, and probably still will long after I’ve gone. The fact that I’m fluent in English says more about America’s status as a de facto planetary empire than any learning ability on my part.

That said, I had always suspected that if and when America started to implode, as all empires are wont to do, it would be at least interesting, if not sometimes fun, to witness the process from a safe distance.

It is not.
It’s sad. And it’s bleak. And it’s scary.
And the saddest thing is to watch America repeatedly shoot itself in the balls not with all of the newfangled perils that the future seems to be raining upon us all the time, but with the same old, old, OLD racism, fundamentalism and ignorance it has fought so hard to shed.

It’s like watching an older brother become a junky and agonize in a ditch after failing to learn anything from a lifetime of experience.

It breaks my heart. I am not being ironic. It breaks my heart.

Once she decides to cover up she really does cover up, I’ll give her that.

Oh, the ennui. So edgy. The bodily fluids. So artistic.
