Agreed. I mentioned yesterday how it blows my mind to think that faith-based education is actually telling people that the world is flat, the sun revolves around it and it’s only 4000 years old. No one ever tried to pass that nonsense off on me in school. My curriculum was well-versed a round planet circling the sun that is over 4 billion years old, among other science-y stuff.

I never thought I’d agree with the PTC, though a lot of it might have to do with their reasonable proposal of unbundling channels as opposed to their usual craziness. If I don’t want to watch this mind-killing crap, I shouldn’t have to pay for it. Or I’ll pay to watch German professionals. Either way, it would be my choice.

No shit. It drives me nuts when I see people doing that, but I feel giddy and hopeful at the same time.
