Sure, Ricky Gervais is allowed to speak his mind in modern western democracies and not in modern middle eastern authoritarian regimes… if you were talking about a satirist 800 years ago the shoe would be on the other foot. Sometimes cultures are just obscene, it happens.

Are you saying he isn’t really putting his money where his mouth is because he isn’t tackling Islam? I mean, he is talking about being an atheist, not an a-prophetist. Jesus is God. Muhammad is a man. Not believing in one is different than not believing in the other.
